Nightfall

During a nightfall event Sol dims in the sky and in his absence Venari rises over the horizon in a terrifying moon rise as she cracks apart the moons surface to emerge from its corpse now that Sols deadly rays are gone she has free reign to search for the Vestiges of her mate.

Manifestation

Venari caused the extinction of sentient life on the surface of the earth when she first arrived Millenia ago and while most factions have since learned how to deal with her corrupting influence she is still just as dangerous. During a nightfall Venari can physically see Yarth and any who gaze up at her are caught by her entrancing eye and unless pulled away will become a corrupted acolyte. Worse yet Venari is barely luminescent the shards of the moon she holds glowing a faint and deep purple that trickles down over the land to illuminate just enough to see silhouettes against a night sky from mountains or trees. And her constant writhing in the nightsky is faintly audible to everyone on yarth the sound of lunar masses being pushed pulled and ground together. those without a Sun Stone or those who do not posses Solar Purification are practically doomed if caught in a nightfall outside of a shelter or town.
By far the worst aspect of a Nightfall event are Venarian acolytes who serve as Venari's hands on Yarth These beasts are shrouded in Venaris inky shadows but still apear quite human so much so that one can see the ink bleeding from where their eyes should be. these acolytes are stronger faster and smarter than even some Cattoric warriors who have been purified and can tear a man in half or throw objects weighing into the tons with ease by using their dark tendrils. These acolytes can only function at this level during a nightfall for Sols gaze reduces them back to mere cultists who infiltrate and plot against settlements.
