Qualifications

Boat making takes a hardy hand and mind. On average most boat-maker spend years perfecting the art of crafting sea vessels. Most are raised learning the craft from their parents, although many have picked up the trade later in life. To begin as a boat-maker if you are not raised in it you need to find a craftier in that trade and spend a certain amount of time and currency.   Level 1:
  • Time: 24 hr Currency: 100 gp
Level 2:
  • Time: 48 hr Currency: 300 gp
Level 3:
  • Time: 72 hr Currency: 500 gp

Career Progression

Level 1: Small Vik Boat
  • Small day to day boats used mainly for fishing and basic transport. These boats can sail easily through rivers and shorelines. They can seat about 1-6 people depending on the type.
Craft time: 24 hr   Level 2: Medium Vik Boat
  • A bit bigger than a common ship used mainly as raid or merchant ships. These boats can sail across seas with the right navigation tools and a small crew. They can seat about 5-15 depending on the type.
Craft time: 48 hr   Level 3: Large Vik Boat
  • Large ships used mainly as raid ships. These boats can sail across seas with the right navigation tools and a large crew. They can seat about 11-30 depending on the type.
Craft time: 72 hr   Additional Crafting   Level 1: Level 2:
