Tortles

Tortles are a reclusive species that live in the lonely expanse of the Festering Marshes. They live mostly solitary existences, only meeting occasionally to convene at The Tortlemoot.
While their closest neighbours - the Urzin Orcs and Gnolls of the Howling Hills - are aggressive, barbaric, and prolific, the Tortles are shy, peace-loving, virtuous, and few. They eke out simple, nomadic existences, with little in the way of possessions, and even fewer concerns.
Among their number are monks, tinkers, the shamanic Songline Walkers, and the mysterious Fateweavers.
