It was orc and half-orc slaves that turned the tide of the war and saved the Kingdom of Oster. For their efforts, these slaves were freed with the Declaration of Broken Chains.

This period of time marked a strange curse that befell Oster. Osterian wives mysteriously began giving birth to tieflings who were either killed or discarded. Eventually, a group of these discarded children would rise up and threaten to destroy the Kingdom of Oster in a war known as The Onslaught of Fire.
