Emilia Bernaldt
The second child of David Bernaldt. Cunning and ambitious, she is Jakob's opposite in every way. She's long resented being in her brother's shadow, seeing herself as his superior in all but age. From her point of view, she's worked harder than he ever has to try and be the family heir, but has never been recognized for it.
Post-War
Emila works closely with her father to restore order to Grattenmar and establish the Knights’ Table. Through that time, and they time they spent during the war, she reconciles her long resentment with her father, and the two form a close friendship as Father and Daughter. When her father returns home, he names her not as successor to their lands and titles, but to his place at the Table, representing the Bernaldts as a knight of Grattenmar, and entrusting her with guiding the future of the Kingdom. She takes to it, finding fulfillment in having something all her own to exceed at with her own merits, and is happy. She leads the other lords around the table, advising the Queen, and then the King. From the capitol, she continued to raise Jenna, no longer raising a hand to her or pushing her to be what she didn’t want. When King Arthur Griffins takes the throne, Emilia Bernaldt becomes his closest advisor and knight.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
