Lothamir "Freed" Friedelenkainen

Freed is a Khal'res ranger that wanders the wilderness around Vilaba, and occasionally comes in from the cold to stay at Frida's longhouse, bringing with him information about the area around the town. While his birthname is Lothamir Friedelenkainen, he finds the task of teaching this name to people he meets in his chosen homeland to be more tedious than it's worth, and has been going by "Freed" for decades.
Freed has the pale skin, pale hair and tall build typical of his people, but is far more of a loner than is usual. He is not completely unable to enjoy the company of others, but prefers to spend far more of his time alone than is usual among the villages of the Khal'res, and so has a tendency to wander into the wilderness for weeks at a time. Over time, he has gained a reputation in Vilaba as being trustworthy and kind, but stoic and quiet.
Freed is accompanied by a piebald crow named Taavi, who seems to be more vocal and sociable than Freed is.
