Mii'res

Aquatic Elves of the Skymirror Sea

The Mii'res are aquatic elves, living under the massive inland sea call the Skymirror Sea. They have skin tones that range from cream to pale honey, with patches of slight bluish tint in softer areas, such as the throat, belly, inner thighs and genitals. Their hair is typically a vibrant shade of electric blue, but some variance exists, ranging from sky blue to midnight blue, with some rare individuals showing black, green or even orange hair. Their fingers and toes are webbed, and their feet appear elongated in comparison to other humanoids. Contrary to popular belief and several well known dirty jokes, the Mii'res don't have gills like a fish. They breathe underwater through their skin, much like an amphibian. While Mii'res do have lungs, they aren't as strong as those of the land races, and they can rarely stay comfortable on land for more than a day. Their name means, "The Mirror People." Mii'res clothing is sparse and practical for their environment, barely covering enough skin to be considered "decent" when they make trips to surface towns. They commonly have decorative tattoos made with blue ink.
