• Whipped cream ramps: Inflatable structures that propel riders into the air for gravity-defying stunts and evasive maneuvers.
• Pancake hoops: A series of hoops made of golden, perfectly crisped pancake rings that participants must weave through for points and style.
• The Butterspill Spectator Stands: Elevated, non-stick seating areas for the safe enjoyment of the event by the public.
• Fruit and nut obstacles: Suspended in the air by edible strings, these provide additional challenges and flavor to the race.
• The Maple Sap Labyrinth: A maze-like section filled with sticky sap that slows down pancake boards but can be used to trap opponents.
• The Spatula Shield: A rotating barricade controlled by the event organizers to protect contestants from stray butter blobs.
• The Flipping Tower: A central point where the Grand Pancake Judge flips a giant flapjack to signal the start and end of the race.
• Butter blob minefield: The main challenge of the battleground, with varying sizes and temperatures of floating butter to dodge.
