Tropical Rainforest

The jungle at night is a symphony of sound, each creature adding its own unique melody to the orchestra. You can hear the deep rumbling of the Ocedot, the high-pitched chirping of the LeafScamper, and the soft rustling of leaves as the wind blows through the canopy. It's a symphony that will stay with you long after you leave.

Tropical rainforests are home to an incredible amount of species. The dense foliage, copious amounts of rainfall, and warm temperatures are a melting pot for diversity. Atop the canopy you'll find species specially adapted to life high above the jungle floor.

Magic in the rainforest

The rainforest biome is shaped by some incredible forces. The torrential rainfall and raging rivers in the rainforest amplifies the power and availability of water magic. The diverse plant and animal life create a sanctuary for nature magic.

Yet, there are opposite forces playing pivotal roles in the rainforest as well. The humidity and abundance of food is a breeding ground for rot, decomposition and disease. Afflication magic thrives in these environments. With savage predators comes a need for great defenses. You will find creatures defending themselves with potent poison magic and venomous glands.
Rainforests are known for torrential rainstorms, raging rivers and flourishing plant and animal life. Naturally water magic is incredibly strong in the rainforest due to this. There is a lot of water to manipulate and a lot of species that rely on that water.

Rainforests are also know for their toxic fauna and flora. The abundance of toxic flora and fauna makes poison magic a powerful force in this biome, as one must constantly be aware of the potential dangers and learn to defend against them.

Settlements

There is evidence of civilizations settling in the tropical rainforests. Massive ruin sites lay in waste suffocated by the dense jungle. The jungles foliage strangles the ruins as if chuckling at the futile attempt to colonize its domain. Nations will continue to attempt to tame the untameable. The jungles bountiful resources cry out to them as a siren, pulling them to their doom. There are many derilect structures preserved and hidden by the jungles overwhelming embrace, a somber reminder of the danger. Who knows what you may find!

The rainforest was buzzing with the sounds of bright chirps, howling and heavy rainfall as the explorers pushed through the jungle. The ruins were famed for their intricate carvings and statues depicting a long forgotten civilization. As the team explored the crumbling structures, they couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the skill and artistry that had gone into creating such beautiful buildings in such a harsh environment. Despite the passage of time and the elements, the artifacts and treasures within were still in remarkable condition, providing valuable insights into the culture and history of the ancient people who had once called this place home. This is what they came for! The team set up camp and prepared for the busy day ahead.
