The division is the name given to the event that occured due to the introduction of The Lucian Test. This test was implemented by Queen
Petria to prevent the past repeating itself. She split the
The Continent of Lucia into six sectors that surrounded
The Circle, each sector has a specific expertise and
The Circle is the capital of the world.
The Lucian Test
This test was to determine what sector inhabitents of Lucia would be sent to. Depending on how they answered they could be sent to:
Shardfell incharge of magic production,
Tradewood incharge of technology,
Strucburn incharge of Masonary,
Linwood incharge of Textiles and Carpentry,
Sparrowfield incharge of Agriculture and Livestock or @goldfincharge of Mining and Lumber. Those who excelled on the test got sent to
The Circle. If on the test they showed signs of rebellion or traits that lead toward rebellion were exciled and sent to either
Marthae or
Basheba where they were watched constantly.
The Policy
After the Division
Petria decided to continue these tests but in a different way. For those in the capital, when they turn 18 they must take the Lucian test from here they are categorised into the Sectors or
The Circle or worst case exciled. For those who are in the sectors they take the Lucian test every 5 years, starting from the age of 18. Those who pass the test stay in the sectors they were either put in or born in, those who fail will get exciled to
Basheba or
Marthae . This test continues even to today with Xathe,
Petria's son, as King.
