Thaddeus Blackwood

Thaddeus Blackwood's story is one of ambition, obsession, and ultimately, downfall.   Born into a family of esteemed wizards, Thaddeus showed an early aptitude for magic, particularly in the dark arts of necromancy. His talent was undeniable, and he quickly rose through the ranks of the magical community, earning admiration for his skills but also drawing suspicion for his controversial experiments. From a young age, Thaddeus harbored a burning desire for immortality, believing it to be the ultimate attainment of power and knowledge. Obsessed with the idea of transcending the limitations of mortality, he delved into forbidden rituals and dark magic, pushing the boundaries of ethical conduct in his quest for eternal life.   Thaddeus's experiments grew increasingly reckless and dangerous, as he delved deeper into the forbidden arts of necromancy. He raised armies of undead minions, conducted gruesome rituals, and dabbled in dark magic that few dared to even speak of. His actions drew the attention of The Dragon Imperium , who viewed him with suspicion and concern. Thaddeus' ultimate goal was said to be the attainment of immortality through mastery of necromantic magic. He believed that by harnessing the power of death, he could transcend the limitations of mortal life and achieve a state of eternal existence—a goal that drove him to ever greater depths of darkness and depravity, he became increasingly isolated and consumed by his obsession. He turned his back on friends and allies, becoming a recluse in his pursuit of forbidden knowledge. Thaddeus's downfall came at the hands of the arcane masters of the The Academy of Arcane Arts , who saw him as a threat to the balance of magic and the safety of the realm. When Thaddeus attempted to perform a forbidden ritual to resurrect himself into litchdom, the masters of the academy intervened, confronting him in a climactic battle that shook the very foundations of the academy. And so he fell victim to the very forces of death magic he had sought to control.
