Dragon
Basic Information
Anatomy
Dragons are a race of very large quadrupedal winged reptiles. They are somewhat unusual in that they are made of both flesh and magic, whereas most other beings are one or the other. This makes it much easier for dragons to wield magic than most other creatures, increases their lifespans, and improves their senses.
Biological Traits
The more common variants of dragons have less magic, which means spellcasting isn't as easy for them, they have shorter lifespans, and their senses are duller.
Genetics and Reproduction
Dragons reproduce sexually, and are oviparous. Incubation takes sixteen months. They have the unusual ability to crossbreed with species that would normally be incompatible to create Draconians.
Ecology and Habitats
Dragons can live almost anywhere.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Dragons are carnivorous, but can go longer periods without food than most races because of their semi-magical nature.
