Government
The city is governed by the Magistrate.
Defences
Khalearenth has two crenellated walls; one around the perimeter of the city, and one around the center of the city. These walls have towers along them which have repeating ballistae on top. The outer wall has three gatehouses, and the inner wall has one. These gatehouses contain various traps which are armed in preparation for an assault. In the event of a siege, many large pots of boiling water are prepared, which can be poured over the walls as well as through holes in the gatehouses.
Industry & Trade
The city's largest industries are mining and metalworking. There are farms outside the city, but they only supply about two-thirds of the city's food.

The roads in and around the city are quite well-maintained.

History
Khalearenth was founded by Melchior and Riah, the creators of Orcs, as a mining camp. When the two were killed by The Inquisition, some of the Orcs stayed and took control of Khalearenth. Over time, it grew into a city, then into a country.
