Sweetapple is mostly inhabited by Dwarves.

Government

Sweetapple is officially governed by a member of the Low Council. However, the Sweetapple Orchard is the source of most of the town's economic success with their largest export being apples, and the orchard even bringing in a bit of tourism. Because of this, the Sweetapple family has most of the real power. This state of affairs is a bit of an open secret around the town, although outsiders don't typically know.

Defences

Sweetapple has a wooden stockade around the town, and another around the orchard. There is a small town watch employed by the governor and another, slightly larger, one employed by the Sweetapple family.

Sweetapple's largest export is apples.

The roads in and around Sweetapple are moderately well-maintained.

History

The town started out as the Sweetapple Orchard, founded by a Dwarf of the Sweetapple family. The Sweetapple Orchard became quite popular, to the point that a few people started to live near it. Over time, the amount of people grew, eventually becoming a full-fledged town, gaining a Council-appointed governor. Despite the appointment of a governor, the Sweetapple family still runs the town for the most part.

Most buildings in Sweetapple are made of wood.

Geography

The Sweetapple Orchard is located on a large hill, and the town grew roughly in a circle around it. Abyeranen is nearby.
