Southern Demigryph
Native to esperia and the jangwa hills the southern demigryph, the southern demigryph is leaner and smaller than their bulkier northern cousins. Their head and forelimbs are that of an eagle with equine hindlimbs. They form large packs of between five and fifteen and hunt antelope, horses and even young elephants. They chase down their prey, slicing with their long talons, leaving their prey to weaken before the pack moves in for the kill.
Southern demigryphs have expansive ranges over savannah, rocky hills and gullies.
Their colouration ranges from a sandy to a golden brown and often have striped patterns across their fur.
