Session One: Graduation Report

General Summary

After meeting with Aofrik Hannaraand swearing the Oath of the Seekers the group were given their first mission; to venture north to investigate reports of the Goblin tribes acting oddly, even for them. Aofrik told them to observe what was happening, see if they could work out why and then come straight back. Before they left in the morning, most of the group headed over to Brixias Café for tea and crepes before they all met up that evening at The Wicked Fool Drinking, dancing and some ethusiastic, if not gifted, singing happened and they all soon retired. The next day, Stump made breakfast, Aerenor pocketed some omelette for later to help with the hangover and Aorfrik wished them well and entrusted Goose with a precious Lodyss Stone Compass. The group made their way north, after a few hours of walking on the path, they were ambushed by a Giant Spider, with a bit of team work, a near-fatal poisoning (and near 'cat'-astrophe as Ofelia fell from a tree) Flick was able to finish off the beast. After a few more hours, a strange noise caught their attention, moving up to investigate as stealthily as a group that includes a smith in heavy armour can allow, they found a Goblin, gagged and bound on a tree stump, surrounded by a circle of toadstools. Flick, who speaks Goblin, found that they had been left be its group up north, fallen asleep and then woken up gagged and bound and was being tormented by "little fellas with wings, 'orrible little buggers". They freed the Goblin, who tried to escape, and carried him off north.
