Trollhunters Report
General Summary
The fellowship has decided on its course. Asking the group of Eada'atlal , led by Zaïra for help in securing the site of the ruin. Travelling to the exiled towers, the fellowship manages to enlist their aid. The work on the third tower, commissioned by the group is progressing steadily with only the interior work still undergoing. Similarly, the work of another of their contacts has borne fruit. Makil Sonderburg has been able to create something like a cure for the strange affliction, but warns the group that it's certainly not without its risks. If a person takes the cure, without being afflicted, the "cure" is quite poisonous indeed. And if the affliction is too far progressed, the potion is similarly dangerous. Certainly a promising development, but it's a long way from being ready for wide deployment. Two routes are available to the group if they want to reach trollrock. One is an inland journey, following the phelgim river upstream. Not exactly the fastest route, but it does avoid having to go near the beleaguered poison village and revealing their location to the council of captains. The faster route, though, is over se, and this is the route the group takes. On their journey several messenger animals land, their missives becoming ever more pressing. Their sender, the scout Einar Ingvarsir calls for help. Making landfall near the old providence relic "the giant's sword", the fellowship is beset by a treacherous set of traps on the upward ramp. Struggling through these traps, the fellowship makes it up to the top of the cliffs, where they find a group of trolls surrounding a burning building and a tower on top of which einar is entrenched.
