The Party set out from Karanvil and made the journey to Westmarch.
History of our first campaign in Avaria.
The Party travelled to a long overgrown shrine east of town and battled the corrupted dryad that lived within, the Shine was destroyed in the battle as well as the nearby grove destroying the valuable Yetisbane plants that grew there. Wushuu recovered the Dryads staff and chose to destroy it.
The Pathfinders travelled to an ancient Aelvari ruin. There they battled a viscous harpy and discovered the underground crypt along with a pair of dead Duegar. There were several Aelvari Keystones which the group used to delve further into the ruins but their path was barred by an arcane rune. They returned to Westmarch with the spoils of their victory.
The party set out from Westmarch and made their way south, cross the Estus and passing through the Wode. They found a member of the lost patrol, a gnome who they identified as Mulo Copperwhistle and barely survived a Skaven ambush. Now they prepare to assault the nearby keep in the hopes of finding the lost patrol and recovering what they can.
The Party explored The Zemerian Fort and found it to be overrun with Skaven. The fought through the waves of skittering ratmen into the tunnels below. Felling a mighty Rat Ogre, a devious Warplock Engineer and finding the lost patrol. The narrowly escaped as the tunnel entrance was collapsed by the Skaven leader as he fled. Wushuu, Tinker & Naivara were injured and the group was able to limp back to town, mercifully without incident.
Tinkerer, Yulgor & Wushuu explored the cave network west of town, hoping to find the mushrooms needed to complete Arcanist Tal'athar quest. In one dank & loomey cave they encountered an ornery old goblin hermit who was outraged that they tried to steal his mushrooms, he unleashed gouts of poison and his pet squigs on the group. Wushuu briefly succumbed to the hallucinogenic fumes before retreating from the caves.
The party left Westmarch towards the Stonefang Mountains. They crossed the Estus with ease thanks to Tinkerer’s new spells. After several days travel they arrived in Karanvil where they travelled the ancient halls to Karak Baravor where Runemaster Beoric Pyros was holding back the invading Troggs. He agreed to send their message to the empire in exchange for their help against the Trogg threat.
An Trogg raiding party launched an attack on Karak Baravor, The pathfinders agreed to lend their aid and held the line along with a phalanx of Dwarf warriors. Using their magic and superior range the pathfinders helped the Dwarves destroy the Trogg attackers.
The Pathfinders tracked and killed the vicious Trogg Alpha in his lair, ended the Trogg assaults on Karak Baravor.
The Pathfinders held off an attack by a flock of ravenous Pteranodons and helped the construction workers complete repairs to Hadrosaur Bridge.
Wushuu, Yulgor, Tinkerer, and Haskins travelled north of town to try and gather some Ironpelt rams for Bran Elderstag. They Encountered Swiftfang and a hungry Griffon.
The Party escorted Harbek Oreseeker and his dwarven minors to The Zemerian Fort and helped clear its tunnels. They also encountered a horrifying aberattion and barely made it out of there alive.
The pathfinders journeyed northwest of town to investigate a huge ravine in the land where the snow never melts. Tinkerer destroyed the Aelvari Ruins by detonating the Glyph of Warding.
A group of pathfinders defended the site of the first watchtower from attacks by orcs and Red scaled drakes.
The Pathfinders mediated a temporary peace between Beoric Pyros and Elthar Cinderwood
The Pathfinders tracked down a stolen child into the Ironbark woods and defeated an ancient and powerful hag.
