S10: Taking a Varcation

General Summary

18th Zarantyr - 4th Olarune

The party met with Beryan Callax, who paid them for their services in Varna and advised to wait until the return of the Governor at the end of the month.   In the two weeks until the meeting took place, the party separated and performed their own tasks:   Kai stole silks from a Cattaneo trade ship. Aethelwulf worked on spellcrafting. Zora'kas served as a military advisor for militia. Dhok worked on crafting rbuy rings and, with Kai's help, sold them for 300gp. Esi spent time medication and self-reflecting, reaching out to the spirit within, with the help of Caderyn.   At the end of the downtime, the party convened and met with Donamira, who advised that a majority of the Alliance member settlements will need to agree to meet with House Orien and recommended reaching out to each of them. To aid this, she provided signet rings to prove the party's permission from Donamira.   After this, Kai admitted her crimes to Aethelwulf, realizing they were heading to the city in which the Cattaneo family operated. They separated from the party to burn the close Kai had used during her crimes and Esi followed her.   Upon returnign to the party, Esi confronted them and Kai admitted the truth to the entire party. They agreed to support her, so long as she was up front of her actions and not put them at risk. They defused the tensions with hallucinogenics.
