Session 26: The Battle Continues Report

General Summary

29th Olarune

The battle on the Galifray continues as Kai collides with the two Viper ships as she turns away from a direct collision. Esi uses Kai's flying broom to engage the pirates on one of the ships and unleashes a flurry of blows. Amali uses her expert skill combined with the deadly range of her bow to snipe targets from atop the crows nest.   A figure flies out from one of the ships but is thwarted by Amali and loses concentration of the spell keeping him aloft until Esi soars through the skies, and ultimately underwater, to knock the figure unconscious and return him to the Galifreet.   With nobody left alive to guide the Viper ships, they collide into each other and begin to sink. The party, being able to breathe under water, loots the vessels as they fall into the abyss. Upon the ship they find a chest full of valuables and magic items. They also find a map to a location on the lake, and a note stating "Plan is in motion and will be sprung on the 1st's 3rd dawn."   Removing the mask from the figure that had fled revealed a snake-like body with a cobra's head and scales instead of skin.
