Session 2: Tech-No Bullshit, Tech-No Prisoners Report

General Summary

The survivors of the Diaspora Crossing spent their first night mostly keeping watch peacefully. Halfway through Shep's watch, he headed off into the nearby forest to investigate rustling sounds and was subsequently ambushed by a couple technoraptors. With a shout, Shep rushed back to the home base camp and alerted his fellow survivors. In a tense skirmish, the survivors were able to ward off and kill several of the feathered dinosaurs, only losing the remaining foraged food for the day.   In the morning, the survivors discussed their next moves and the day ahead of them. Onyx, Gregor, Luna, Thea, and Samaritan stayed at the home base to protect it and rest up. Additionally, Lissi requested that they try and make the dinosaur meat edible; if not, to fish using the meat as bait.   Lissi, Shep, Jars, Jiore, and Mark headed out to the forest as the search party, following the trail of blood left behind by one of the wounded technoraptors. Mid-search they came across the second half of Bay 3, finding 2 of the passengers dead and the remaining Contemplative passenger wounded but alive. With a little ingenuity, the search team was able to retrieve him and take him back to base camp. Meanwhile, Jars and Shep further investigated the blood trail over the stream to the other side of the forest. There they found the trail of blood directly followed a trail of glowing stones. With some effort, they managed to pull one stone off the trail and examined it.   Jars and Shep became determined to arrive back to home base before the other half of the search party and headed to the cliffside rope tied there the previous day. They made it down to the water safely and swam back to shore. The recently arrived Lissi, Mark, and Jiore mistook the rapidly approaching Shep and Jars for a threat and took a few shots. Luckily, no one was hurt, and Jars merely lost his knife.
