Session 5: Almost Reaching the Peak Report

General Summary

In the mirror room, the parties memorable persons came to life in front of them and attacked. During the fight Bharash Marux struggled to fight his assigned memory, of his father, and swapped with the others. Sprig Silvertoung's cows took out Bharash's dad.    The party had some heart to hearts in the evening and in the morning discovered that all the party are hearing the mumbles in their sleep though only Alecto Ocreata remembers the flashes of the tower that she saw in them.     The party then went through the teleportation circle and found themselves in a desert and the circle blew away in the wind. They decided to follow the flowing grains for about an hour before finding themselves overheating, particularly Ashley Benatar. Sprig Silvertoung dug down to find that there is a level stone floor beneath the sand. They then summoned steeds to travel easier but before long Sprig Silvertoung and Alecto Ocreata decided and succeeded in recreating the circle from memory allowing the group to move on.     They barrelled out of the circle into a chess board like room. Ashley Benatar opened one of the doors to find a queen piece and a riddle:  

Long ago there were 8 warring kingdoms all led by their warrior queens. Each queen scoured the lands for her rivals and only when all found a territory where they were shielded from the other's view could progress be found.

  After spending some time on the puzzle two of the queens attacked and were swiftly defeated by Sprig Silvertoung's cows. They then settled into places on the board which the party used to solve the rest of the puzzle and move on.
