A small family matter Report

General Summary

Wirena Mericant, Genedoc's great great something grand-niece, took it to her elder brother, who is the current head of the family.
On visiting his office, the party realises that he plans to sell the family heirloom to the highest bidder. The priests of Sheela Peryroyl worry about what an evil magic user might be able to do by corrupting such an item, and urge the party to stop him.
Through a mixture of intimidation, mercantile savvy and persuasion, the party convince the elder brother to sell it to the temple in exchange for a sponsorship deal with Thargs party, whose equipment now sports the Mericant merchant's crest. Additionally, the party have promised to continue to sing and tell the story of the Slayers of Azraka, and their ancestor's glory in defeating that marauding dragon. They got some centaur hair bowstrings, and some eeriely sentient rope.
