Session 1 - Bad Omens Report

General Summary

As the virtual world of Etria Online unfurled before them, Kestral and Wood Eaar, having just completed the introductory tutorial that culminated in a skirmish with goblins, found themselves standing in the bustling town center. It was here that they encountered two fellow adventurers, Nyx and Astal, and quickly forged an alliance to continue their journey. Guided by the town's provisioner, Elmar Barthen, they were tasked with a mission of rescue—to locate Elmar's missing friend, Gundren Rockseeker, a dwarf who had vanished after the goblin ambush.   Returning to the scene of the ambush, Nyx's keen ranger skills led the party deep into the forest, following the telltale tracks of the goblins. Their path, however, was fraught with danger as they navigated through traps and encountered more goblin adversaries. Upon entering a cavernous chamber within a cave, they stumbled upon a horde of goblins guarding stolen provisions and a mysterious figure overseeing it all—a menacing bugbear.
  With quick thinking and daring actions, Nyx ignited chaos by hurling a stick of dynamite into the midst of the goblins, decimating their ranks. Amidst the chaos, they discovered the true identity of the enigmatic overseer—a formidable foe concealed in shadow. In a harrowing confrontation, the party fought valiantly but was swiftly overcome, all save for Wood Eaar. However, their seemingly inevitable defeat was thwarted by the timely intervention of a mysterious savior, Hiden.
  Hiden, a knight of the kingdom, appeared cloaked in mystery and power, effortlessly repelling their assailant and whisking them away to safety. Grateful yet bewildered, the party listened as Hiden revealed the gravity of the situation—the shadowy figure's appearances were spreading chaos throughout the land. To confront this growing threat, Hiden proposed a plan, but emphasized the need for the party to strengthen themselves to face the challenges ahead. With a sense of purpose and newfound determination, the adventurers resolved to heed Hiden's counsel and prepare for the trials to come, knowing that their journey had only just begun.
