Report begins...
This is the twelfth report on the activities of Subjects 4777, 4778, 4779, 4780, 4781, and 4782, along with their relationship to, and interactions with Subject 1. Data for this and all other reports on these subjects have been gathered through mostly secondary and tertiary sources, with only occasional data from the primary sources themselves. As such, these data may be subject to the degradation effects of copying from one source to the next. For full reliability percentages, see the attached charts.
Day 145 of 4,543,626,881 (25 May of 98 AF in Local Notation)
There was some sort of commotion amongst the subjects in the morning of this day. Details are sparse due to the distance at which they were observed. However, it may have been stirred up by Subject 4782 (designated "Dwin" and referred to as such henceforth in this report), who entered the tent occupied only by Subjects 4777 and 4780 (designated "Dante" and "Ackers" and referred to as such henceforth in this report). This was followed afterwards by Dwin having a conference with Subjects 4778, 4779, and 4781 (designated "James", "Rolanda", and "R.A.N.C.H.E.R." respectively and referred to as such henceforth in this report). Reports indicate that Dwin seemed angry and emotional.
Following this, Ackers left the tent with Dante. Perhaps the subjects no longer felt that Dante was in immediate danger as I conjectured in the
previous report? Or perhaps it was simply because they were preparing to leave? However, Dwin's display of emotion was uncharacteristic of her, and later events (see below) indicate that the subjects are successfully hiding details of their activities from our sources, suggesting there are other reasons for their behaviour. There is, however, no reason to believe this is because they are aware of our monitoring, but rather that they are hiding these details from almost everyone.
The subjects left
Zal with
Jennifrie Maine (but referred to as "Jenny" henceforth in this report) about an hour before noon. They passed through
Na in the late afternoon, and then reached
the Coop in the early evening. R.A.N.C.H.E.R. and James went immediately to talk the Coop's CEO, Subject 4112 (designated
"Fazul Pareen" and referred to as such henceforth in this report). They apparently avoided talking to other members of the Executive Council, even though council members designated
"Zak Manir" and
"Lulu Mahad" reportedly came to greet the subjects upon their arrival. All the subjects were willing to say was that they had very important information.
After speaking to R.A.N.C.H.E.R. and James, Fazul called a full meeting of the council and the subjects appeared before them. The subjects spent no more than an hour with the council. Shortly after the subjects left, council member designated
"Naja Sereen" also left. However, the remainder of the council remained in session for many hours after that, not adjourning until late in the night.
It is not clear why Naja left the council meeting, though it is reminiscent of the recent situation between her and former council member designated
"Darmand Evrayl", when both were recused. If Naja was recused again, it could indicate that the council was discussing further details about that situation. However, the subjects did not acquire the information they went to Zal to get (pertaining to who else in the Coop had been purchasing poisons)--at least as far as we are aware (see below).
Day 146 of 4,543,626,881 (26 May of 98 AF in Local Notation)
The council reconvened at 0900. They called Dante before them at 1100. He left less than half an hour later. At 1300, the council called the remaining subjects before them, without Dante. This continual separation of Dante from the others would seem to suggest that either Dante somehow acquired information separate from the others or that the others acquired information about Dante.
It should be noted that there is no indication that Dante and Naja had had any interaction since the subjects' return to the Coop, except the short period the prior evening when they were both at the council meeting. Given their close relationship, this is very unusual.
The other subjects remained before the council for only a short time before leaving and then being called back around 1515. Naja was called before the council at this time, too. They remained before the council for close to an hour before once more leaving. At this time, the council adjourned. They have made no announcement since to the Coop as a whole despite the fact that many Coop members have questioned what was going on.
Given these events, there can be little doubt that the subjects learned additional information in Zal--information both they and the Coop's Executive Council believe to be dangerous in some form. When and how they acquired this information can only be speculated on. Either Dante's telepathic abilities or James's control of nanotech could explain how they achieved this unobserved. What they learned presumably involved Dante and Naja in some way. One, perhaps even likely, possibility is that the information indicates some further threat to Naja's life, and by extension, Dante's as well. It could be that Darmand is planning revenge. Perhaps they learned that he purchased more poison than they were previously aware of.
Whatever the case, all sources have been instructed to pay extra attention to anything that may explain this mystery. In particular, if they interact directly with the subjects, they have been instructed to ask appropriate questions to uncover the truth. As always, they know not to draw too much attention to themselves.
Following the council meeting, Dante and Naja spent time together for the first time since the subjects' return. During this time, R.A.N.C.H.E.R. spoke to them alone amongst the Coop's alpacas where they could not be overheard.
Day 147 of 4,543,626,881 (27 May of 98 AF in Local Notation)
The subjects began this day by preparing once more to leave. Before departing, they spoke with Jenny for a short while and R.A.N.C.H.E.R. requested that Fazul grant her asylum in the Coop.
The subjects then left the Coop and arrived back in Zal in the late afternoon. Instead of camping east of town, this time they were successful in finding accommodation at an inn, albeit having to share a single room between them all. Dante immediately went to a private meeting with Subject 422 (designated
"Arnol Federman" and referred to as such henceforth in this report) at the Lazar's Den. If Dante is indeed in particular danger, it seems odd that the subjects would be comfortable with him on his own like this, though perhaps they have reason to believe the danger has passed (perhaps only temporarily)?
Days 148 through 150 of 4,543,626,881 (28 through 30 May of 98 AF in Local Notation)
R.A.N.C.H.E.R. and Ackers spent almost the entirety of these three days assisting in repairs at the Firebrand Chemicals warehouse. The other subjects all assisted a local blacksmith in constructing a giant-sized greatclub for R.A.N.C.H.E.R. to use. It would appear the subjects are simply waiting for the delivery of the chemicals they purchased from Federman.
End report.
