Halth'aire is a high fantasy world filled with arcana and magic which was imbued with a strong, supernatural energy by an unnatural structure known as the Wellspring. The magic energy provided by the Wellspring has begun to fade and strange occurrences, monsters, and disputes between kingdoms are all becoming far more common. Paranormal and supernatural elements are rife and spread throughout the story, and the story will lean its focus towards more roleplay elements rather than a focus on combat. The story may lean towards a more abstract, whimsical, and fantastical tone rather than something more gritty and grounded. This isn't to say that there wont be an overarching dark tone, but it will be presented through layers of events and topics that are not explicitly dark. By abstract, I mean much of the cultures, creatures, and terrains will feel far from reality and will have a fantastical and otherworldly feel about them most often times. Examples can include human cultures from the later "Ender's Game" novels or the Houses of the "Dune" world.
