6:13 PM] DM: 23 Gishmont 3Y53   Miteia, formerly Shasem   Poseidon's Beard Inn and Tavern   [6:14 PM] DM: You'd spent the night with your particular partners with pretty much everyone getting frisky except Urrak. Morning comes and the tavern's probably terrible breakfast selection awaits you.   [6:19 PM] Urrak: Urrak makes her way to the main dining area and orders a plate of food. She finds a seat nearby to start to "enjoy" it, waiting on the others to arrive   [6:20 PM] DM: Nysa's sitting down there, finishing up her own meal.   [6:22 PM] Urrak: "Mornin'," she grunts as she takes a seat. After a couple bites of food, she makes a face. "Gunnloda's spoiled us all with her amazin' food. Everythin' else tastes like dirt in comparison."   [6:23 PM] DM: "Morning. Hope your people are early risers."   [6:23 PM] Seirixori: Seir comes in with Gunnloda and sits near Nysa and Urrak, pulling Gunnloda to her and nearly falling back asleep with her arms around her wife.(edited)   [6:23 PM] DM: Nysa: "....guess not."   [6:26 PM] Urrak: "She'll come around, Seirixori's been through a tough couple days," she turns to Seir, "Y'should get some food in ya, or at least some coffee. Can't have ye fallin' asleep on th' high seas."   [6:27 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh and Rukiya walk down the stairs, hand in hand, fully dressed and awake.   [6:29 PM] Seirixori: "Coffee is gross," she mumbles, barely intelligible. She cups her hands in front of her and with a few muttered words a small pile of berries appear in her hands and she eats one before pocketing the rest.   [6:30 PM] Urrak: "Can't say I disagree with ye," she finishes the last bite of her food.   [6:30 PM] DM: Gunnloda gives Seir a quick kiss before heading up to the bar to order real food.   [6:31 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh orders two coffees and some food from the bar.   [6:33 PM] DM: Between the bunch of you, you end up with an assortment of figs, olives, quail eggs, and cheeses for breakfast.   [6:35 PM] DM: Gunnloda brings hers back to the table and at least nudges Seir to try to nibble on something.   [6:36 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Sipping on her coffee, Ryleigh asks, "Did everyone sleep okay?"   [6:37 PM] Urrak: "Well enough, given th' circumstances."   [6:39 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "The circumstances? You had a warm bed, it's better than sleeping on the beach."   [6:41 PM] Urrak: "It is, Ry, but I ain't complainin' about my sleepin' arrangements. Well, not entirely," she smirks a bit pops an olive into her mouth. "Glad t' see you slept well, though. Seems like ye needed it."   [6:42 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh rolls her eyes. "Can't even go two days without sulking."   [6:42 PM] Seirixori: Seir picks up a fig and does pick at it at least, but stays quiet, watching everything.   [6:44 PM] Urrak: "Ye'll understand when ye get older," She leans back and folds her arms, "So, when are we headin' off?"   [6:45 PM] DM: Rukiya says something in a suggestive tone in Elven to Ryleigh. Nysa almost chokes on her drink and devolves into a cough.   [6:47 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: A deep blush blossoms on Ryleigh's cheeks, she tries to cover it by taking a drink of coffee which she promptly spills down her front.   [6:47 PM] Urrak: Urrak has no idea what's happening but seeing Ryleigh lose her composure makes her grin widely   [6:48 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh also says something in elven back, but it sounds a lot like a whine.   [6:49 PM] Seirixori: "Ravaphine isn't here to clean that up," Seir mumbles, still sleepy.   [6:50 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Taking a napkin, Ryleigh wipes the coffee from her armor.   [6:54 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia stumbles in lazily, looking very contented.   [6:54 PM] Brimeia: "Morning," she mumbles, though she's smiling.   [6:55 PM] DM: Danai makes her way down the stairs cautiously.   [6:56 PM] Seirixori: Seir extracts herself and goes to Danai, helping her over to them and then curls herself around Gunnloda again.   [6:56 PM] Urrak: "Mornin' ye two"   [6:59 PM] DM: Danai: "Good morning."   [6:59 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia digs heartily into the food.   [7:04 PM] Urrak: Urrak turns to Nysa, "How long till we reach Halolis?"   [7:04 PM] DM: "A few days still." Nysa runs her fingers through her green-tinted blonde hair and stands. "I'm off to the Delphin. The -ea's are already there and I'd wager the Cap' is too. We're leaving with the rosy-fingered one."   [7:05 PM] Urrak: "We'll be right behind ye, thanks," Urrak stands as well   [7:07 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia mumbles a greeting back to Danai around a mouthful but doesn't quite meet her eyes.   [7:07 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "What's the rosy-fingered one?" Ryleigh asks before she can stop herself.   [7:08 PM] DM: Danai answers for her. "The goddess of dawn, her fingers full of blossoms."   [7:09 PM] DM: Nysa nods in Danai's direction before heading for the door.   [7:12 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "Oh." Ryleigh stands and goes to the bar to settle the tab. When she returns, she says, "Are we ready to go?"   [7:12 PM] Urrak: Urrak nods   [7:13 PM] Seirixori: Seir sluggishly pulls herself from Gunnloda and nods... and then shifts into a ferret and jumps onto Gunnloda, curling around her neck and shoulders and starts falling asleep again.   [7:14 PM] Brimeia: Bri scarfs down a few more bites of food before getting up.   [7:16 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh leads the group back to the docks.   [7:17 PM] DM: Nysa meets you at the docks as she's headed back up the road towards the inn. "Didn't see Astara come down before y'left, did you?"   [7:18 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "No," Ryleigh says, her eyebrows drawn together, "when's the last time you saw her?"   [7:19 PM] DM: Nysa: "When we went to our rooms to sleep."   [7:19 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia's eyes widen and dart around at the news.   [7:21 PM] Urrak: "That's odd, she doesn't seem th' type t' sleep in," Urrak crosses her arms, "Which room was hers? I can go back an' check"   [7:22 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "She wasn't at the ship and we didn't see her at the inn. Would there be anywhere else she might be?"   [7:22 PM] DM: "I'm headed up now to check on her room. I'm not sure where else she'd be but the Delphin. Everyone else is still asleep but the fishers."   [7:23 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "Okay, would you like us to wait for you at the Delphin?"   [7:24 PM] DM: Nysa: "Prob'ly best if you do. Wouldn't want to go wake her up and end up having to look for you too."   [7:26 PM] Urrak: "Hope she's doin' alright," Urrak says quietly   [7:27 PM] DM: Nysa: "She probably just slept hard after all the shit we went through yesterday. I'll be back soon."   [7:28 PM] DM: She heads back up the hill towards the inn.   [7:28 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "Come on," Ryleigh says to the group.   [7:28 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia follows quietly, looking a little nervous.   [7:29 PM] DM: You get to the Delphin and the two human sailors are standing there, waiting to cast off lines.   [7:33 PM] Urrak: "Three days still, can't wait till we're there. Never liked th' sea much," She puts her pack down near one of the benches, "Ye didn't see her, did ye Bri? I know ye fancied Astara somethin' fierce." she smiles a little and elbows Brimeia playfully   [7:36 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia's head snaps up, expression a bit startled as she responds, "Uh, w-what? In my dreams." She laughs nervously.   [7:38 PM] Urrak: Urrak chuckles, "Those must've been some sweet dreams."   [7:38 PM] Brimeia: "Haha, yeah..."   [7:39 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia shifts awkwardly.   [7:41 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh remains silent, her eyes bouncing between Brimeia and Urrak.   [7:42 PM] Urrak: "Ye ok, Bri? What is it?"   [7:53 PM] Seirixori: Seir lightly tugs at Urrak's hair, pointing to where Ry did.   [7:54 PM] DM: Rukiya: "Some places use them to call patrolling guards. Something bad happened."   [7:54 PM] Urrak: Urrak turns to look, "Shit."   [7:54 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "And it came from the direction of the inn we were just at."   [7:54 PM] Urrak: "Shiiiiiit."(edited)   [7:56 PM] Urrak: "Should we go an' see what happened?"   [7:57 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "No, I think it's better if we stay here."   [7:59 PM] Urrak: Urrak nods slightly and creates a bridge between her and Gunnloda for Seir to claim down with her arm. "Ye don't think someone could'a hurt Astara, do ye?"   [8:00 PM] Seirixori: Seir climbs down and she brushes up against Gunnloda then goes over to Ryleigh, motioning to herself as she does.   [8:01 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia looks alarmed by Urrak's suggestion.   [8:01 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Humming a soft tune, Ryleigh casts speak with animals.   [8:04 PM] Seirixori: Seir chatters something to Ry as soon as she does.   [8:06 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh scratches behind her ears and whispers, "No. Let's just see what happens. It's probably safer for you like this."   [8:08 PM] DM: A few minutes pass.  

== Enter the Guards ==

[8:09 PM] DM: You see three guards, two with crossbows and the other with a shortsword, come down the road, looking around.   [8:10 PM] Seirixori: Seir tenses and jumps over to Gunnloda again.   [8:11 PM] DM: Gunnloda pets her, trying to calm her.   [8:12 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "Everyone try to remain calm. We've done nothing wrong..." She glances at Brimeia "...or I hope we haven't."   [8:12 PM] Urrak: Urrak follows her eyes and takes a quick look at Brimeia as well, "Right, stay calm."   [8:14 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia shrinks a bit, really hoping that it's true she hasn't done anything wrong.   [8:15 PM] DM: The guards approach, beelining in your direction once they spot you. "You," the man with the sword says, pointing it at Brimeia. "You need to come with us."   [8:15 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh steps in front of Brimeia, politely asking, "Why?"   [8:18 PM] DM: The man narrows his eyes at Ryleigh. "Because I said so."   [8:18 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia looks surprised by Ryleigh's defense.   [8:18 PM] Brimeia: She kind of tries to shrink behind Ryleigh, though she's not very successful   [8:19 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "That isn't an acceptable answer. She won't be leaving with you, unless she's being accused of something and you have evidence to prove she has."   [8:21 PM] DM: The man frowns. "It fits the description for a suspect and it's coming with us." The two guards, one man, one woman, both raise their crossbows. "Step aside."   [8:22 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia's face hardens at the way the man refers to her though she says nothing.   [8:22 PM] Seirixori: Seir growls from her spot in Gunnloda's arms.   [8:22 PM] Urrak: "Whoa whoa whoa, ''she'' ain't goin' anywhere." Urrak steps forward towards the guards   [8:23 PM] DM: The guards both point their crossbows at Urrak as she steps forward.   [8:23 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "Stop." Ryleigh says to Urrak, holding out her hand.   [8:24 PM] Urrak: Urrak stops but keeps putting on her scary orc face for the guards   [8:26 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia is warmed by the defense from the rest of the party but isn't sure how to react to it all.   [8:27 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: She turns back to the guards, her hand on Dawnbringer's handle. "Don't speak about ''her'' that way. She's a person, not a thing. If she goes, then I do too. You can willingly take me, or I'll force your hand to do so. I don't want to shed any unnecessary blood today, but I ''will'' ensure that she is treated fairly."   [8:34 PM] DM: The guard tenses. "Remove your hand from your weapon and back away."   [8:35 PM] Seirixori: Seir makes her way to Ryleigh's shoulder.   8:39 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh releases Dawnbringer's handle, but doesn't step away. "This is your final warning, I will not offer mercy again. If you want to take her peacefully, you will take me too. If you refuse, I will have no choice but to defend my comrade from your bigotry."(edited)   [8:41 PM] Urrak: "An' I just like stabbin', so ye really should listen t' my armored friend 'ere."   [8:43 PM] DM: The head guard starts shouting. "All three of ya, on the ground, now." He reaches forward to grab hold of Ryleigh's armor to pull her down. The other two guards point their crossbows at Ry and Urrak.   [8:45 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh raises her hands and steps out of his grasp. "I don't need your assistance, I will willingly come."   [8:50 PM] DM: Give me an acrobatics or athletics check, Ry.   [8:50 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: ((7))   [8:51 PM] DM: And with a 23, Ryleigh does not step back, instead the man's hand closes around the neckplate of her armor and... roll another, please.   [8:52 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: ((16))   [8:53 PM] Seirixori: Seir stumbles a bit off Ryleigh's shoulder and jumps down before she actually falls and jumps over to Rukiya, chattering something towards Ry.   [8:54 PM] DM: But not good enough. he manages to yank her downwards, dropping his sword as he spins around her to put a knee in her back.   [8:54 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh nods her head "no" to Seir and grunts in discomfort.(edited)   [8:46 PM] Urrak: Urrak holds her hands up as she slowly lays down. Or I will cut it from your mouth, guard!"   [8:58 PM] DM: The male guard moves towards Urrak and tries to pull her arms behind her back to manacle her. Does Urrak resist?   [8:59 PM] Urrak: ((i guess we're resisting now so...yes))   [8:59 PM] DM: Athletics or acrobatics then, please.   [8:59 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia looks really uncertain but starts to comply before tensing at the guard's shout. She looks defiant, but huffs and stands her ground.   [8:59 PM] Urrak: ((11))   [9:00 PM] DM: Urrak yanks her hand out of the male guard's grasp.   [9:01 PM] DM: The head guard grabs for Ryleigh's hand, keeping his weight on her back. Does she resist?   [9:02 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: (Yes, she will)   [9:02 PM] DM: Roll it.   [9:02 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: ((17))   [9:03 PM] DM: He grabs her hand and slaps a manacle on it.   [9:05 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "Stop," Ryleigh says. ((casts command))   [9:05 PM] DM: He brushes off the command.   [9:06 PM] Seirixori: Seir chatters again to Ryleigh and then jumps down from Rukiya and goes to bite Urrak's hand... just as a warning.   [9:04 PM] DM: The female guard yells at Brimeia again. "Get on the ground or I will fire!"   [9:06 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia hesitates, looking around a moment, pausing on Ryleigh before starting to slowly lower to the ground, unsure of what else to do to keep her friends from harm.   [9:06 PM] DM: Fuck it, let's roll initiative. Urrak still not resisting?   [9:13 PM] Urrak: ((not resisting))   [9:13 PM] DM: He puts manacles around both her wrists.   [9:14 PM] Brimeia: "I don't know what I did, but I'm sorry," Brimeia murmurs to both Ryleigh and Urrak.   9:15 PM] DM: Rukiya steps forward, hands up and empty, holding her tone soft and non-aggressive. "I'll take the sword."   [9:16 PM] DM: Monime, the female guard on Bri steps forward to put manacles on her too. Bri allows it?   [9:16 PM] DM: .Brimeia   [9:17 PM] DM: .Seirixori   [9:17 PM] Brimeia: ((yes))   [9:18 PM] DM: Bri is cuffed as well.   [9:18 PM] Seirixori: Seir runs back to Gunnloda.(edited)   [9:19 PM] DM: Bisaltes, the head guard on Ryleigh finishes putting the manacles on her as well.   [9:20 PM] DM: Gunnloda picks up Seir and holds her, staying back.   [9:21 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia bristles at having to surrender, but does her best to breathe evenly and keep her temper in check, lest she get her friends in more trouble than they already probably are.   [9:21 PM] DM: The guards start pulling weapons off the three who are on the ground, just dropping them to the sides of them, then they all pull the three to their feet, now disarmed.   [9:22 PM] DM: Rukiya picks up Dawnbringer.   [9:23 PM] Urrak: "Ye save that dagger, Seir! Ye save that dagger!" Urrak yells as they disarm her   [9:23 PM] DM: The guards start pushing on the prisoners, roughly leading them up the road.   [9:24 PM] DM: Rukiya picks up the bag of holding that they'd pulled off Ryleigh as well and starts collecting weapons and Ry's shield to put in it.(edited)   [9:26 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia makes a low growling sound but otherwise does nothing.   [9:27 PM] DM: Rukiya immediately starts following the guards once all their gear is collected.   [9:29 PM] Seirixori: Seir headbutts Gunnloda affectionately before she jumps down and starts following Rukiya.(edited)   [9:29 PM] DM: They seem to be heading back towards the inn.   [9:30 PM] DM: Gunnloda starts to follow as well, then pauses, grabs Danai's hand, and then follows.   [9:30 PM] DM: Rukiya fastens Dawnbringer to her own belt as she walks, not wanting to put her in the bag of holding.   [9:33 PM] DM: You get back up to the inn where the guards stop you. There are a handful of other guards talking to people including the bartender from the previous night, the owner, and Nysa. The head guard holding Ryleigh says, "On your knees," before he and the one with Urrak kick at the backs of their knees to get them to kneel. Do either of you resist?   [9:34 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: ((no, Ryleigh will kneel))   [9:35 PM] Urrak: ((same))   [9:35 PM] DM: The two with crossbows are joined by another while the one who had been handling Ryleigh takes Brimeia and shoves her forward towards the inn.   [9:37 PM] DM: Bisaltes pushes Brimeia forward towards the owner of the inn.   [9:41 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "Wait!" Ryleigh shouts at the man as he starts to escort Brimeia away. "I have a spell that will force her to tell the truth to any question you ask, but you have to take me with you."(edited)   [9:42 PM] Urrak: Urrak looks over at Ryleigh, surprised   [9:42 PM] DM: One of the guards points his crossbow at Ry. "Shut up."   Bisaltes doesn't stop.   [9:44 PM] DM: He takes her up to the front of the inn and stops her in front of a man in blue robes with a bushy beard. None of you remember seeing him before.(edited)   [9:45 PM] Urrak: "Who th' fuck is that?" Urrak tries to stand   [9:45 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "Stop, Urrak. Unless they take her out of sight we don't need to move."   [9:46 PM] DM: One of the guards shoves Urrak back down. "Quiet."   [9:47 PM] Urrak: Urrak grumbles something in orcish but stops moving   [9:51 PM] DM: Rukiya glances over and makes eye contact with Ryleigh as she walks past to where Nysa's talking with a guard, just within hearing range of the rest of you.   [9:52 PM] DM: Rukiya: "I saw the flares. What happened?"   [9:53 PM] DM: Nysa's voice cracks when she says, "Astara's dead."   [9:53 PM] DM: You guys see Bisaltes start moving Brimeia away from the tavern toward the road.   [9:56 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh stands and shouts, "What has she done! Where are you taking her?!"   [9:56 PM] Seirixori: Seir keeps her distance and starts to follow the dude and Brimeia.   [9:58 PM] DM: The guard standing over Ryleigh takes her crossbow and slams the butt of it into Ryleigh's face, and it would be a critical hit, but Gunnloda finally remembers she can cancel those and manages to blunt the blow, so it's only for 7 damage. "I said shut up."   [10:03 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh takes the blow, spitting out some blood, but she doesn't shut up and attempts to head-butt the guard. ((12H)) "I will not be silenced so easily, answer me!" She yells at the bearded man.   [10:04 PM] Urrak: Urrak is going to try and break free of her manacles   10:04 PM] DM: Roll a strength check.   [10:04 PM] Urrak: ((24))   [10:04 PM] DM: Check, not save.   [10:04 PM] Urrak: ((23 lol))   [10:05 PM] DM: Urrak hulks out and the chains break free from the cuffs on one side, leaving a short length of chain dangling from her left writst.   [10:06 PM] Urrak: Urrak will attempt to punch the guard that hit Ryleigh   [10:06 PM] DM: Unarmed attack.   [10:09 PM] Urrak: ((19))   [10:10 PM] DM: Urrak punches the guard for 6 damage.   [10:11 PM] DM: And all the guards react. Suddenly there are seven sets of crossbows pointed at Urrak and Ryleigh.   [10:11 PM] DM: The woman who got punched rubs her jaw. "Fuck it, we'll take them too. Any other takers?"   [10:12 PM] Urrak: Urrak will try to break Ry's manacles   [10:13 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "Stop," Ryleigh says. Not allowing Urrak to do anything else. "They'll kill you, please."   [10:14 PM] Urrak: Urrak stills but keeps her eyes on the guards. "I can hold 'em, Ry. I can hold 'em an' ye could follow Brimeia, without th' entourage."   [10:17 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "No, we don't trade lives, Urrak. Come on, let them take us."   [10:18 PM] Urrak: Urrak expels a sharp breath out of her nose, "Alright."   [10:18 PM] DM: Two guards practically jump on Urrak, wrestling her back into a new set of manacles.   [10:20 PM] DM: With an entourage of FOUR guards, Ry and Urrak are shoved down the road in the same direction as Bri was taken.   [10:24 PM] Urrak: "I hope ye have a plan, Ry," Urrak stumbles a bit as she walks, "Cuz we're gonna need it."   [10:25 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: "I wish you hadn't gotten involved. You don't understand where we are and how they'll treat you. Now I have to figure out to get Brimeia and you out of here..." "This one's feisty. She's gonna get you, Aeolus."   [10:33 PM] DM: Up ahead, you can see Bisaltes and Brimeia. The road is largely deserted, but there are buildings on either side. You can tell you're near the edge of town, however, and the road you're on is angled up towards the peak of the rocky mountain the town sits next to.   [10:35 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh attempts to peer behind them, seeing if she can spot Rukiya or Gunnloda.   [10:38 PM] DM: She's shoved again, but she does catch a glimpse of Gunnloda following, worry etched across her features.   [10:40 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh stops and makes the person who shoved her walk into her. "Where'd you learn how to walk," She snarks.   [10:42 PM] DM: The guard does, in fact, run into Ryleigh. He growls, but another one stops him from reacting. "Let it be, 'lus. Does no good for us to kill her."   [10:44 PM] DM: You walk past the last building and start up the mountain on a windy path when there's the sound of several wolves howling from ahead of you.   [10:45 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Again, Ryleigh tries to look around - seeing if she can spot Rukiya.   [10:45 PM] DM: Perception check   [10:46 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: ((17))   [10:46 PM] DM: You don't see her.   [10:49 PM] DM: As you walk further, you see Bisaltes and Brimeia standing in the road at a stop.   [10:50 PM] DM: The guards shove you more. One of them calls out,"Bisaltes! We've got more!"   [10:52 PM] DM: Bisaltes calls back without taking his eyes off Seir. "Good. We have a situation."   [10:52 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh is going to try and break her chains.   [10:53 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: ((8))   [10:53 PM] DM: She does not free herself.   [10:54 PM] Urrak: Urrak will also try to free herself   [10:54 PM] Urrak: ((13))   [10:54 PM] DM: Urrak is also not free.   [10:54 PM] DM: Two of the guards shove Ry and Urrak forward while the other two ready their crossbows.   [10:55 PM] DM: And there, as everyone catches up, is Seirixori standing in the middle of the windy mountain path, surrounded by wolves.  

== Bri and Bisaltes ==

9:43 PM] DM: Bisaltes continues pushing Bri towards the owner, a human man in a blue robe. He has a bushy beard and is in need of a haircut. Bisaltes pulls Bri to a stop. "This the one?"   [9:45 PM] DM: The man peers at Bri. "Yeah. I think so," he says.   [9:45 PM] DM: Bri doesn't remember ever seeing him before either.   [9:52 PM] DM: Bisaltes grabs hold of Bri again and starts pushing her, this time away from the inn.   [9:57 PM] Brimeia: "H-hey, where are we going? What's all this about anyway?"   [9:59 PM] DM: "Don't act innocent, devil. You know what you did."   [10:00 PM] Brimeia: "No, I really don't."   [10:07 PM] DM: "You're going to go meet whatever devil made ya."   [10:08 PM] Brimeia: "Wh-what do you mean?" Brimeia asks, feeling a prickle of panic.   [10:09 PM] DM: "We have a low, low tolerance for crime in this city. You're gonna be executed."   [10:12 PM] Brimeia: "WHAT? What did I even do? I just got here!"   [10:12 PM] DM: Bisaltes shoves her, hard. "YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID, YOU SICK FUCK."   [10:13 PM] Brimeia: "NO, I DON'T! You saying so doesn't make me magically know what you mean!"   [10:14 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia can feel her temper rising, though she's still trying her best to keep cool.   [10:17 PM] DM: He grabs Bri and spins her around. "Did you think you wouldn't be caught? You think we wouldn't find her? That her crew wouldn't find her? How d'you think that woman felt, finding her friend like that- naked, her eyes bulged out, bruises on her throat?" He reaches up and puts his hand on Bri's throat. "Maybe you'd like to find out how that feels for yourself."   [10:22 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia's eyes widen when the guard begins to describe ... something.. someone.. a body?   [10:22 PM] Brimeia: "Wh-what do you mean? Who?" Her voice trembles though her eyes flash with heat when he threatens her again.   [10:24 PM] DM: "That sea captain you were sailing with. Stop playing dumb. Kallias said he saw you leaving her room."   [10:25 PM] Seirixori: ((Is there any indication of like... ranged weapons on him lol))   [10:26 PM] DM: The guard? He only has his sword visible on him.   [10:26 PM] Brimeia: "What? That.. that's impossible. I... I was sleeping the whole time..." Brimeia stammers, half to herself.   [10:27 PM] DM: He slips his hand down to her shoulder and shoves her again to make her walk.   [10:27 PM] DM: "I don't wanna hear it."   [10:29 PM] Seirixori: ((Is this like middle of the street road in the town?))   [10:31 PM] DM: The road is largely deserted, but there are buildings on either side. You can't do this, you don't have proof!" Brimeia shouts, starting to panic, knowing perfectly well that the guards here can do whatever they want with someone like her and no one would bat an eye.   [10:34 PM] DM: He laughs and shoves her again. "Proof? We've got Kallias's word. We've got a devil. We don't need anything else."   [10:36 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia mutters several choice curses in Infernal.   [10:37 PM] Brimeia: She starts weighing the risk of fighting the one man to get away and back to the others, her grip on her temper slipping.   [10:39 PM] DM: Bri can barely hear some commotion behind her. Sounds kinda like guards shouting.   [10:40 PM] DM: He shoves her again, past the last building in town. The road turns into more of a path that winds between big rocky boulders.   [10:41 PM] Seirixori: Seir, seeing they're now past the buildings runs in front of them, a good thirty feet or so and drops her wild shape and with a twirl of her staff slams it down as a bunch of wolves appear next to her, "But do you have the right devil?"   [10:41 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia twists around trying to look towards the source of the shouting.   [10:42 PM] Brimeia: Then, hearing a familiar voice, she turns back front with shock. "Seirixori?" she says out of pure surprise.   [10:45 PM] DM: Bisaltes stops and draws his sword. He looks too surprised to say anything and just tries to take stock of the situation.   [10:47 PM] Seirixori: "Now, my friends here can have a nice breakfast, or you can let her come with me. Your choice." Seir growls, holding her hand out ready to let the wolves charge him and holding her wild shape if he moves to attack.   [10:48 PM] DM: "You wouldn't dare."   [10:49 PM] Seirixori: "Wouldn't I? I am a bit of a devil, after all." She has the wolves take a step forward.   [10:49 PM] Brimeia: Recovering from her shock, Brimeia growls, fear forgotten for the moment, "Touch a hair on her head and you're dead, scum."   [10:50 PM] Seirixori: "Stay out of this." Seir says to Bri, but doesn't take her eyes off the guard.   [10:50 PM] Brimeia: Brimeia huffs with a quiet growl, but doesn't make any further move for the moment.   [10:51 PM] DM: And as the other guards start to catch up, we're going to take you back to main.

The path is just worn. You can still walk off of it. The boulders would require climbing.   [11:16 PM] Seirixori: "You were going to kill her anyway," Seir growls, calling for the wolves to attack, 4 at the man, the other 4 at the guards bear her friends. She then shifts into the big Dinoseir and rushes at him to claw his face.   [11:17 PM] Seirixori: ((Look at that nice nat 1))   [11:18 PM] DM: The only wolf that was close enough to attack this round missed too.   [11:19 PM] DM: Another guard near Urrak misses her and drops her crossbow to draw her sword.   [11:19 PM] DM: .Ryleigh Alastair used her action to help Urrak. Both of them freeze.   [11:32 PM] DM: Rukiya runs forward and hands Dawnbringer to Ryleigh.   [11:33 PM] Ryleigh Alastair: Ryleigh takes her and thanks Rukiya with a smile.   [11:33 PM] DM: Bisaltes growls. "You're ruining everything." She misses.   [11:57 PM] DM: Rukiya jumps back up on the rocks to the south and throws a dagger at the guard near Urrak. She also misses.   [11:58 PM] DM: .Brimeia   [11:58 PM] DM: Bri is no longer raging because she did not take damage or attack anyone in a turn, right?   [11:59 PM] Seirixori: ((She just tried to break the chains I think))   [12:00 AM] Seirixori: Brimeia: Bri rages once more and tries to break free again.
