Exposition
Special Log 1- Brimeia teleports back to Halolis where she finds out about a fight at Bophela. When she returns for the fight, she meets Atalanta, a medic who gently rebuffs Bri's flirtations, but warms up to her in time.
She beats Tosorthrus the Mighty, then Atalanta tells her about Rak-hor, the 'pet fighter' of the guest of honor that night. After Bri takes down a cocky half-elf, she and Rak-hor square up. She starts losing to the goliath, but then a voice enters her mind and convinces her to rage and take out his weak knee. On the verge of defeat, Brimeia does. And wins.
After the match, she's visited in the champion's room by a beautiful woman who calls herself Eya. She promises women, money, glory... if Bri will do as Eya asks. Entranced by Eya's beauty and charm, Bri readily agrees.
Session 22- Dawnguard gets their first look at the weird black mist that rises from the bodies of those who Brimeia kills. It encircles Brimeia and melts into her skin and Bri is always left with a smile afterwards.

Conflict
Session 37- After Urrak's insensitive comments and behavior, she and Brimeia enter a fighting ring. Eya's voice urges Bri to continue attacking after the bell has rung, after Urrak is knocked unconscious, and it is only Ravaphine and Ryleigh's quick reactions that prevent Urrak from meeting an early end.
Session 37a- Brimeia finds herself back in Halolis and in front of Eya. Eya applauds Bri's attempts and urges her to continue her work.

Rising Action
Session 71- While seeking a man named Cidro to exchange for Ravaphine's mother Alugani, Eya uses Bri's fears that Cidro is too dangerous to leave alive and convinces her to attack the sorcerer. He is very nearly killed, but Gunnloda Frostbeard manages to piece him back together just in time. The group becomes more and more uncomfortable with Brimeia's actions.
Session 72- Ravaphine uses Detect Thoughts to learn more about Brimeia's control issues and learns more about Eya.
Session 76- It's like pulling teeth, but eventually Dawnguard learns about Eya and a string of comments in particular leads Ryleigh to her temple to verify her suspicions. Indeed, it sounds as though Brimeia is under contract by a devil. However, because Brimeia did not sign a contract, it is suspected that this devil has her entire family line contracted through some ancestor's deal.
Session 84- Dawnguard and Rukiya head to the Temple of Vydea to do research on devils and Shasem.
Session 85- Dawnguard (along with Gunnloda Frostbeard and Rukiya Moonstream ) head to Cusmasir in Shasem to seek information about Brimeia's family, starting with Hipponax Lapis, the man who raised her. He is the archon of the city and very important, influential, and powerful. But first, they need to figure out how to find the information they want.
Session 86- Dawnguard go to the Temple of Apollo and meet Phoebe one of the Daughters of Polymatheia. She helps them do research on the Lapis family line and tells them about the relationship the Lapis family and Crotamis family have had since the Conqueror. She tells them about the Crotamis family's history of miscarriages and about a blind beggar that turns out to be Danai who makes comments that further cement Ryleigh's suspicions that Brimeia might be a Crotamis instead of a Lapis.
