    Co-owner of the Lionshield Coster store in Triboar. The Lionshields aren't popular in town, so Alaestra doesn't know many people.
  • Lord Protector Darathra Shendrel
    The current Lord Protector of Triboar, a crossroads town on the Long Road.
  • Darz Helgar
    Elderly groundsman at Triboar's caravan parks. A former thief looking for a new life, his past recently came back to haunt him.
  • Elia
    A huntress from the city of Silverymoon, with mysterious origins. She's an acquaintance of the group of heroes known as the Chaos Brigade, having joined them on one of their adventures.
  • Elmar Barthen
    Shopkeeper in Phandalin and friend to the group of adventurers that recently passed through. He's always on the lookout for any caltrops that might still be in his shed.
  • Royal Armourer Ghelryn Foehammer
    Elderly dwarven armourer from Triboar, famed across the Dwarfholds for his skill at the forge. GRanted the title of Royal Armourer by Queen Tithmel of Citadel Felbarr after he made her an exceptional suit of ceremonial armour.
  • Gundren Rockseeker
    Dwarf prospector who discovered Wave Echo Cave along with his siblings. After his capture by the Black Spider, he was recently rescued by his employees, and is now making arrangements to reopen the mines.
  • Harbin Wester
    Townmaster of Phandalin, a small mining town in the Sword Mountains. Inexplicably inspires hatred in tieflings.
  • Harshnag
    Frost giant adventurer and member of Force Grey, a famed adventuring group from the city of Waterdeep. Travelled with the Chaos Brigade for a time during the Giant Crisis of 1491.
  • Jack Cooper
    A former criminal from Phandalin whose encounter with the Chaos Brigade left him with a distinct fear and hatred of adventurers.
  • Linene Graywind
    Owner of the Lionshield Coster trading post in Phandalin.
  • Narth Tezrin
    Young co-owner of the Lionshield Coster's outpost in Triboar. The locals don't like Lionshields, so he mostly keeps to himself.
  • Nezznar
    Mysterious drow treasure hunter known as the Black Spider. Recently perished at the hands of a group of adventurers in Wave Echo Cave.
  • Nundro Rockseeker
    Youngish dwarf prospector, who discovered Wave Echo Cave with his siblings. He was recently rescued from the Black Spider's clutches, and is now working to reopen the mines.
  • Othovir
    A harness-maker and leatherworker from Triboar, known for his skill at the craft. He doesn't talk about himself a lot, and always seems to know when someone's behind him.
  • Pasha
    An inscrutable, vain efreeti noble, and patron of the warlock Kairon Vestarri.
  • Rosario Vestarri
    Proprietor of the Rosewood Gardens florists in Silverymoon, and adoptive sister of Kairon Vestarri.
  • Sildar Hallwinter
    A former Griffon Knight of Waterdeep and an agent of the Lords' Alliance, now working to bring order to the sleepy town of Phandalin.
  • Sister Garaele
    Young elven preistess of Tymora living in Phandalin. She is an agent of the Harpers, who keeps watch over the town to the best of her abilities.
  • Toblen Stonehill
    Innkeeper from the mining town of Phandalin. His cellar still hasn't recovered from the last tabaxi who stayed at his inn.
  • Urgala Meltimer
    Innkeeper and former adventurer, who currently owns the Northshield House inn in Triboar. She doesn't really trust adventurers, knowing what they can be like.
