Kerilwynn Talie, called Keri by close aquantences, is a Drow Arachnomancer, a mage who specializes in magic involving spiders. She is the youngest daughter of the renegade House Talie, who fled Faedrin, the Dark Jewel of the Underdark, and immigrated to New Arvandeen. She is not on good terms with the rest of her family, and never applied for New Arvandeenian citizenship. Keri is known to have worked as a mercenary, and is thought to have been a member of both the Ēnrathyl Mercenary Company and the Dark Light Mercenary Company, said to be led by Elidin Darkbow. Rumors suggest she was contracted as the Guild Mage of the Myth Arcania Thieves' Guild, but Keri has publicly denied this several times, and so have her friends the Viscount and Viscountess Darmont, who are both well regarded nobles of Dweomeria and owners of the Myth Arcania Race Track. Keri has been a permanent house guest of the Darmonts since she moved to Dweomeria in 2046 EY, leading others to speculate that she is actually an illicit live in girlfriend of the couple, their body gaurd or a professional dominatrix, depending on who is asked. Keri is an old "friend" of Princess Avesia Zendreal, though growing up they called each other "useful allies," as there is no term for friend in undercommon. Keri has often been seen out and about Myth Arcania with Princess Avesia since the half-drow princess also moved to Dweomeria's capital. She is also frequently seen at the The Prismatic Hope Palace, presumably also to visit her girlhood friend. In 2054 Keri bonded with a Meld, and began the transformation into a Xeld Hybrid.
