Rin grew up in the King's Forest and learned very early on how to hunt game for survival. In his early teens he was discovered by soldiers of Cormyr's Purple Dragon Army and they arrested him for poaching. The commanding officer saw potential in him and offered him a chance to join their ranks. He had a reputation for carrying hand crossbows in both hands and earned the nickname "PewPew" from his comrades in arms.
