Born in the slums; has had a hard life. Lived in gangs for awhile until his best friend/ girlfriend died.

He was born in the slums and his parents died when he was 4. He was treated like street trash and scum. Had to learn to steal to survive but he wasnt very good at it. One day while he was watching the streets he saw a peculiar girl on the street. He watched her steal without getting in trouble. He followed her and asked her how she did that. They soon became friends. She was a year older (assuming) and they grew up together. She was in a gang called (idk) and helped him into it. They grew up and climbed the ranks of the gang. She had a power that helped her climb the ranks but unfortunately Zion didn't. They continued to climb but Zion hit a road block. Its hard to progress higher in the gang with no power. The other power members didn't like that he was so high and still a cripple so they attempted to kill him. Thats when he discovered his power. After that day he rose faster and higher than anyone else and soon became the leader. He changed the gangs symbol and name to (idk). His gang quickly became the best and surpassed the other gangs. They didn't like this and became more and more violent as did Zion. Alfred and his girlfriend became increasingly uncomfortable with the amount of violence, the level of violence, and the increasing danger. They tried multiple times to persuade him to no avail. Then the day arrived. The other gangs were sick of his power and they launched a siege to kill him and his gang.
The __ gang stood for a while but eventually began to crumble. He was captured using a very rare serum that took away his powers. They beat him for a bit and gave him a scar __. Luckily Alfred and his girlfriend rescued him and fought off the other streetlords. Unfortunately, the streetlords killed his girlfriend and retreated. Zion was filled with an unimaginable rage and slaughtered every other gang nearly by himself. After he killed the last member of the last gang he collapsed in on himself. He became almost a shell of what he used to be. Alfred stepped in and guided him on. He gathered up the reserves of Zions riches got in contact with kain or grayson and managed to sign himself and Zion to the Hero Academy. Zion is a very reserved person now and is quiet for the most part. Whenever he interacts or talks he seems quite cold and hard. Ironic that he depends on others for his powers
