At first glance what you'd assume is a helmet is actually his head. Where a person's face would be is a green overlay that ends at a v-point on his chin which lights up, showing different emoticons which are used to display emotions when he speaks. On both sides of the overlay is more metal plating which spikes up into two ear-like extrusions.
Surprisingly, this warforged is wearing regular cloaks similar to an experienced traveller. Resting in two sheaths on either side of his person are two short swords, wrapped over his chest is a longbow.
His behaviour would remind one to a fish out of water, definitely lacking in social-skills. Despite this, he appears to be quite intelligent just not socially-adequite.
Appearance
Identifying Characteristics
Living Inorganic Fully-operational Technical Subordinate androids have parted with the natural exterior and their crystals are developed into a standard shape, instead of the natural form it had up until this version. They switch the stone for sculpted metal, yet still some woodwork can be seen in the yellow androids in order to preserve its mobility. Up to now, this version is the most recent one, even though a 4th generation is already in the works.
LIFTS' crystal is incredibly unstable as one wrong move can cause a powerful sonic blast to emit from it. Androids with this crystal are supposed to be swift one-use androids to destroy barricades or to open tough vaults. These androids gain the following abilities next to their standard ones.
Mentality
Personal history
When Neronvain the Green created the third generation of androids, L.I.F.T.S., she specifically made sure that the crystals would be refined to a smaller size than before, therefore becoming more efficient. These androids are mostly used for their specified purpose, spread thin all across the forces of The Cult of the Dragon.
LIFTS was part of a battalion of purple crystals tasked with breaking through city walls as The Cult of the Dragon would then loot the valuables of the people inside. After witnessing the death of his siblings he experienced an emotion for the first time, fear, soon followed by dread. This new sensation pushed him towards abandoning the battle at hand and The Cult of the Dragon as a whole.
He wandered the Sword Coast for days without any purpose, unsure of where to go and what to do with his new sentience. During his travels, he was ambushed by a pack of direwolves, rendering him useless against their pack tactics. To the rescue, Leosin Erlanthar and his group of monks came, scaring off the wolves with their numbers. These monks originate from Candlekeep and are known for travelling the world in search of knowledge, leaving any weapons out of the equation.
Leosin, confused at first, remained true to himself, aiding the damaged android without judgement
Even though Leosin Erlanthar didn't express this himself, LIFTS does feel like he is in his debt. Leosin Erlanthar gave LIFTS a silver pendent the size of a larger coin with a dark blue metal inside of it, on top of which is a silver engraved symbol of a harp and a moon. LIFTS was told that if he'd ever seek shelter, any good folk would accept him if he'd show the symbol.
During his travels, LIFTS mostly shied away from society, still afraid of the people attacking him on sight. He also acquired his current equipment in this time, taking whatever he'd need from a sleeping adventurer in order to protect himself.
Several months later, a sparrow found him. It was carrying a small letter from Leosin Erlanthar himself. On it was written the following information:
Dear LIFTS,
Rumours in the south travel around quickly, eventually speaking to me in Elturel. When you reach this letter, I will already be on me way to a town named Greenest and we could use your assistance. I still have quite the journey ahead of me before I reach the trade-stop, so you might arrive there before we do. If this is the case, do not worry. The people of Greenest are some of the most welcoming folk around the Sword Coast, I'm sure they'll welcome you with open arms.
May our roads cross each other soon.
Your friend,
Leosin.
LIFTS dropped whatever he was doing and immediately made his way to the town Leosin Erlanthar had described.
Intellectual Characteristics
Due to LIFTS' background, he knows the following things:
- The marriage ceremonies of many cultures around the world, and can perform them perfectly.
(Whether you are licensed to perform them, however, is a different matter.) Whenever you attend a wedding, you always know when the officiant, groom, bride, or guest has committed a faux pas. - How to juggle up to eight objects very well, but they all have to be citrus fruits or else they just feel wrong in your hands.
- Origami.
- The perfect recipe for Cordon Bleu, literally the only recipe he knows.
- He reads 10% faster than standard creatures.
- He has no concept of money, at all.
- The Cult of the Dragon, also known as Keepers of the Secret Hoard, or Wearers of Purple, is a semi-religious organisation which used to venerate undead dragons, or dracoliches, founded by Sammaster, a powerful wizard.
- Neronvain the Green, your maker, is one of the ruling members.
- Neronvain the Green created the Turac Androids when they were attacked by Metallic dragons many years ago. She is very powerful, old, clever, and dangerous.
- LIFTS has been in the city of Claug, but memory of the location gets wiped when leaving the area in order to ensure the safety in case the Turac Androids's memory bank gets stolen.
- The goal of The Cult of the Dragon is to steal treasures from ''undeserving'' villages and towns for their dragon lords.
- The Cult of the Dragon has the following ranks, listed from lowest to highest: Followers of the Scaly Way (smugglers, spies, swordsmen all looking for money), Dragonclaw (official lowest level members), Dragonwing (are in charge of the Dragonclaws), Dragonfang (assistants to Dragonsouls in the form of bodyguards or important mages), Dragonsoul (overseers of important plans and quests), Wyrmspeakers (the highest rank, there are always 5 members, representing the 5 main chromatic dragons).
- Turac Androids are under the command of Dragonsouls.
- LIFTS isn't aware what battle he ran away from.
Morality & Philosophy
Due to LIFTS's background, his philosophy is vastly different from society's standard:
- He doesn't understand what makes life useful.
- Has no clue how organisms need to stay alive. He knows they need food, water, oxygen, and stabbing them isn't good. Is there a problem? Take them to a repair-station.
- Has no understanding of value.
- Mimics human behaviour in the hope that they will like him more and become more connected to him.

Social
Contacts & Relations
After the crash of the flying castle, LIFTs decided to leave the party to try and discover what happened to the city of Turac, hoping to learn more about his "birth". Kibbles travels with LIFTs as both his ward and his most trusted friend. Along the way, LIFTs came across G.1.7. aka Gill. LIFTs and Gill, although once enemies, realized they had a shared interest in discovering Turac and learning more about the androids, so Gill joined LIFTs and Kibbles on their journey.
Social Aptitude
LIFTS often comes off as rude, but usually doesn't mean it. He is a very blunt to-the-point person that isn't aware how his words can affect another person's emotions.
Hobbies & Pets
Paramagnetic Adaptive Terrestrial Specimen
PATS is a completely robotic drake who accompanies LIFTS on his journey.
