King Grol is known to reside in Cragmaw castle and is the one that actually has Gundren Rockseeker hostage.

It is known that King Grol and his gang were supplying the Redbrand Ruffians with stolen cargo for the purpose of preventing Phandalin from discovering by Wave Echo Cave.
