Half-elf bastard who never knew his (elven) father.

Neglectful mother who died when he was 7, lived on the streets of Woodrun for the next 4 years.

Earned a massive mistrust for religion and the clergy during this time. Thinks of them all as shysters and pedophiles who all have hidden agendas.

AT age 11 he pick pocketed Baron Elmirid in the market and got away at the time.

The Baron had him tracked down and brought to be a servant in his house, where he was fascinated by the stubborn toughness and viper quickness of the young Veksar.

The Baron would beat Veksar at the slightest infraction, but it was not abusive, simply harsh. He was made to work like a slave and earn his place in the Manor.

The Baron convinced him that if he would learn to read, he could become a novitiate of the Westguard, which he was fascinated with since he was a child. (Like most would be from that area)
