Quint is well known around town as the adopted son of the local inn-keeper and his wife. Naturally gifted with a variety of skills, he knows all the latest gossip and always has a thrilling story.

Quint was found wondering on his own at a young age outside of town 27 years ago by Kathy Bitterwort. Unable to leave the helpless babe on his own, she took him back to her and her husband John's inn, The Leering Goat. The authorities were contacted and guards even conducted a search for his parents, but there were never any leads.
 
Despite his unusual arrival to Westhaven, Quint seemed to fit right in. Growing up around the inn, or running around town on errands, it seems like most people atleast know of the 'the innkeeper's boy' for his friendly and charismatic attitude, if not for his mischievous nature. Often caught with his hand in the proverbial apple barrel - he'd receive the ire of his father for tricking a patron with the 3-cup nut trick, or was dragged back home by a guard after peeping in a noble woman's window.
 
Naturally talented in a variety of ways, Quint seems to always make the most out of whatever situation he finds himself. Having moved out a few years ago, Quint does 'odd jobs' around town in addition to entertaining patrons at his foster-parent's inn with stories of heros gone by and far-off adventures he learns from the sailors that visit Westhaven. While it's not widely known he's done pretty well for himself lately, helping the occasional sailor get around those pesky import taxes, or assisting a 'dear friend' escape the town-guards after a dreadful misunderstanding (for a small fee of course... friendship can be expensive). He's been a bit closer to Maur, often able to give the guard a gold or two to 'take his break early'.
