Personal history

With the development of the Calamity (no relation) each nation began scrambling for power in their own way. Agdaland gathered up it's best scientists in an effort to research and develop a completely new method of warfare that would blow the other nations out of the water. Calamity Jane was recruited as a part of this effort and her prodigal abilities quickly put her on everyone's radar, for better or worse. One day Jane had a breakthrough, through tireless effort and endless patience Jane had cracked the code and invented gunpowder. Her elation at this discovery would quickly die however as one of her lab partners Dr. Tapreck Todamjer, had succumbed to his jealousy and used his position to frame Jane for treason, claiming that Jane had been leaking her research to enemy nations. Jane was forced to quickly flee as the soldiers that she had once strove to protect turned on her. All was not lost however, in his Hubris Dr. Tapreck had neglected to secure the research that was the root of his jealousy and Jane fled off into the night clutching her blueprints and formulas to her chest. As Jane fled she stopped briefly in a backwater town's blacksmith's shop in the dead of night to take advantage of her research and craft a weapon to defend herself with, leading to the creation of the very first firearm. Jane then began her journey to start a new life, ending up in Tri-ang, the home of The Guild of Builders. With limited options that would allow Jane to ply her trade she went for the obvious, and joined The Guild. As usual, Jane began to make a name for herself and soon the head of the Guild offered her a mysterious and seedy job. The job was to head to the village of Hogon and retrieve a package, what made this job strange however, was not the task, but the reward. For carrying out such a simple task one would expect pocket change as a motivator but instead the head of the Guild was offering Jane something truly enticing, her own business. Realizing she would be a fool to turn down an opportunity like this Jane set out towards Hogon with an uneasy conscience, determined to turn her life around.
