Killed In Battle

After days traveling through the Underdark, we came upon a large fortress ensconced in a fungal forest. As is our way, we decided to raid the fortress for valuables. I was particularly excited to find a suitable offering to Gond, in exchange for his steadfast guidance.
 
Upon engaging the fortress’ denizens, a host of fire giants, we made excellent progress, slaughtering several with ease. However, as we entered the great forge proper, we caught the attention of several giants, one of whom was lucky enough - and stupid enough - to strike me dead.
 
May Gond smother their forge forever, Sseth twist their kin’s flesh for ten thousand generations, and the tides of Nethras fill their lungs for eternity. I will return and have my vengeance.
