Personal history
They say we was born during a raid on some uppity merchant, but the old 'uns like drama in their stories. I dunno. Might be true. Never had a real Pa. Ma says he was some sweet talking city boy. Sounds like a ne'er-do-well to me, but ta each their own.
Huh? of course "we". Yod's my twin. Dintcha know that?
Well, we were really raised by the whole camp. Rurik made sure we knew how to get around the woods and find food, if needed. Mardred showed us how to find the weak spots in a nobleman's keep by teaching us how walls are built.
And Ma? Ma taught us about the stuff that really matters. How to tell if someone is feeding you a line of pigshit, and how to get them to stop. She made sure that all the things Ru taught us were not just about how to use the woods, but about how we need to take care of them. Most of all, she taught me that I can forgive even when no one has apologized.
This came about when one day Yod started yelling about how I was Ma's precious baby, and how she thought I could never do no wrong. For some reason, he held a grudge all these years when I got praised for my walls and he didn't. But his walls were crap, and everyone knew it. He was real mad, and took off in a huff. He said somethin 'bout how he'd make sure I got my comeuppance one day on his way out. Don't quite know what he meant by that. I did what Ma said and didn't hold a grudge. It was easy, since I never did really unnerstan what he was hollerin about.
Well, one day Ma told me she could tell the camp life just wasn't fer me. She told me to strike out in whatever direction tickled my fancy, and that the Camp would always be around to come home to. So, packing up some stuff, I spun around with my eyes closed and started walkin.
Well, that didn't work too good, since I quickly saw I were headin straight fer Pride's Call. After that, I picked the way with my peepers peeping. I met a fair mix of folks: some good, some rotten, but most good, simple folk.
I headed on East, until I heard the capitol was up North of them mountains. Being no lover of big cities (not ta mention city guards), I headed to the South. That swamp wasn't very kind to me, so I kept movin. That valley were pretty enough, but not enough trees for my taste. Hupperduk was alright (for a city), with all those weird 'ventions the Gnomes have.
[Ended up wandering North. Met a Gnoll named Kazarrg Splitears in the Savalirwood who told him about Naviask and his mission to heal the land. Being somewhat dense (and because of where they are), Thazz doesn't realize he really meant Xhorhas. So Thazz also vows to do this healing. He tries to figure out what is wrong with the Woods, but can't. Eventually starts wandering, looking for someone to help him in his quest. Ends up in the Menagerie Coast, or wherever you start me out.]

Yodmor- brother (?): He got jealous when Mom praised me for learnin how to make and break stone. It's not my fault he sucked at masonry. He left in a huff one day. Good riddance to the sourpuss, I say.
(You have always been better than this family member at a particular activity. They grew jealous and abandoned you, so that they could return and best you one day. You gain one rival.)
Dernela- mother (Camp Chief): She taught me how to read people, how to come upon a caravan without them knowin, and how to convince a merchant his life is worth more than any trinkets he might be takin to sell.
(This family member has always loved you with all their heart, and would do anything for you. You gain one ally.)
