Casseus is in excellent physical condition, with the body of an athlete

Body Features

Casseus is decorated with numerous tattoos on his body, from his ancles to his wrists. Most are Tuskan tribal designs done by Tuskan tattooists, which Casseus only vaguely understands as there is a Tuskan moral tale that goes with each one, the rest are sentimental and are gotten to commemorate something in his life.

Casseus often forgets to shave (as it has not become habit yet), and frequently has 4-5 days growth

Physical quirks

Smiles easily and often chuckles or outright laughs, especially when he's feeling awkward.

Apparel & Accessories

Casseus proudly displays his Swoop Gang colours, a tan coloured, heavy leather jacket, emblazened with their mascot, a charging bantha that the "gangers" call "Bossie", with a banner above arching around the image that reads "The Tuskan", and one benieth arching up the other way that reads "Riders src"


Aside from that, Casseus is rarely seen without his swoop rider's crash armor, or without his swoop, an Air-2 made by SoroSuub, with a passenger seat, lower flight ceiling (500 m) and heavier armour (2D+1)

Special abilities

Like Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, Casseus has "Jedi reflexes" when piloting, in that he can see a fraction of a second into the future and react to things before they happen.

Personal history

Casseus was educated at the school of hard knocks (by his abusive father) at a very young age. By the age of 10, Casseus was helping his father work on various technical items used by the moisture farmers of Tatooine. One night when his father was passed out drunk after taking out his frustrations of the boy's mother leaving, on the boy, Casseus stole his father's speeder bike and what he thought was enough water to make Anchorhead and fled into the night. He remembers thinking it was his birthday, his 11th birthday.

As Casseus sped through the second day of his flight having traded half his water to the Jawas for more feul for the speeder, and a safe place to sleep last night, but now he was beginning to think they had exaggerated how close the city was, as he was out of water and getting more parched by the minute and there was still no sign of Anchorhead.

Casseus would not find out for many years that he had come within 20 km of Anchorhead when the Sandpeople shot him off his bike.

The Tuskans recognised him as a child and the bruising that had spread across the left side of his face matched that of a birthmark borne by a great Tuskan hero, so the raiders that took him down had no idea what to do with him. Therefore, they brougt him to their shaman. Casseus was groggy but conscious when the two Tuskins layed him, gently, beside the shaman. The shaman took his head in her hands and held it to her chest and scolded the two raiders. Casseus never understood what was said but the shaman seemed very upset, and soon he found himself being stripped and bathed in water!

The Tuskans accepted him as one of their own, and as far as he could tell he belonged to the shaman. Casseus lived and thrived among the native peoples of Tatooine for 6 years, using his technical knowledge to service the small amounts of technology they used.

Casseus, being human, was often used as a diplomatic go-between for the Tuskans and the Hutts, and became quite well known by the Hutts of Tatooine. For his 14th Birthday, Ardo the Hutt gifted Casseus an Air-2 swoop, then 3 months later told Casseus that he wanted him to race for the Hutts. Casseus felt he could hardly say no, so he said goodbye to his family and left to the Swoop Racing Circuit.

It was on the semi-pro circuit that Casseus met the Good Boys, a swoop gang, who were more illicit than legitimate, and extracted "insurance" money out of the independant swoop racers. When he complained to Ardo about it, he was told "then do something about it". So Casseus told Ardo, to bet "as much as he dared" on a swoop gang called...(after drawing a blank for a minute) "The Tuskin Riders" to beat the Good Boys in a showdown race. Ardo inquired as to the identity of the Tuskin Riders, and all Casseus could tell him was "they're new, but great promise, odds will be in your favour!"

Then he asked Ardo for a 12000 credit advance to make the race happen. Ardo told him that was alot of money, but ultimately, couldn't resist Casseus' smile, and told the boy "I don't get this back, I feed you to the Banthas you're so fond of."

He then went to a chop shop that he had made friends with on the circuit, and cut a deal for 10 "reconditioned" Mobiquet Flare-S Swoops to be delivered to his garage (everyone on the circuit is assigned a garage). When the deal was done, Casseus went to one of Ardo's bookkeepers, and asked her to make it appear as though 100000 credits total was moved into 10 accounts without known names, then transfered from those accounts into cash. She had to check with Ardo but he ok-ed it, as long as money wasn't actually leaving his accounts.

Then, he approached some disenfranchised Swoop Racers he was aware of. People who had failed to pay the "Good Boy Insurance" and had payed in an accident which took them off the racing circuit. He offered them a swoop and a chance at revenge if they agreed to decorate their swoop a particular way, and dress as Tuskan Raiders.

They agreed, and he gathered the 10 of them, including the only other human in the group Dax Sunrider, and took them out into the desert around Deadman's Gulch for their "initiation". He asked them if anyone of them had heard the sandpeople, which they all said they had. He asked if anyone understood what they were saying in those roars, to which they all replied they did not. Then, mischieviously, he asked did they think there are any around, to which they replyed that they hoped not, except the Dug brothers, Norlok and Gorlok, who began posturing like they each could singlehandedly take on a whole tribe.

Casseus stood up and mimiced the sounds that the raiders made with eerie accuracy. Everyone laughed nerviously, except the Nivin sisters, Larsia and Nisi Helrot, who begged him not to do it again. Then one of the raiders replied, a strange barking roar on the wind that froze everyone in their tracks. "Hey y'all want a fight, doncha?" He said to the Dugs then bounced out of the light to call out like a sandperson even louder.

Moments later the camp was surrounded by two dozen Tuskan Raiders. Casseus called out from the darkness, "Y'all shoulda got out of the light, Sand People can't see in the dark, any more than you can"

"You're a dead man, Mal," called out the Iktotchi, Mira Karl

I love you too, Mira," He returned, as an obvious Tuskan leader, in the darkness, called out to the circle of raiders. They cautiously began to approach the captives, who clustered in the center by the fire and drew their blasters (those who had them)

"Wait," said Dax, "I have an idea, put down your weapons."

"Are you out of your mind?!" said Keerli Keeg in Duros, Klepti the Jawa sqeeked something that nobody but Casseus understood and put down his Ion blaster.

"Trust me," said Dax, putting down his hold-out blaster.

"Putu, Dax," cussed Mira, "I hate you as much as I hate Mal, right now!" as she put down her staff. The Duros and the twins (Gorlok and Norlok) seeing their friends surrender, cussed and put down their guns. Finally Vesker, the Quarren, dropped his saber.

The hidden leader barked out another command and the dozens of Sand people began calling out and waving their Gaffi sticks in the air. Then they, individually, began to approach the cluster and yell into their faces and make threatening gestures with their Gaderffi.

"Don't move," said Dax, "show no fear, Casseus told me once that the sand people can smell fear."

"Do you remember that he told you that he would never put you in danger without informing you and giving you the choice, " said Casseus from the dark.

"Yes he did,"

With that, a huge Tuskan Raider leapt into the light with a Gaderffi, two-handed, above his head, coming straight at Dax.

The brute came to a stop centimeters from caving in Dax's head, and Dax didn't even flinch. Casseus, from beneith the raider's helmet said, "You'd all do well to remember that."

"What the Fuck, Mal?!", said Mira.

Casseus explained that he was brought up among the Tuskans, and he expained his plan. The Good Boys were rich and powerful in the Circuit, and there were 11 of them. He would challenge them to a race off with a 10000 credit a piece buy in, winner take all, that they couldn't refuse without looking weak.

When the Good Boys used their resources to determine if this race is legitimate, they would find Casseus having taken a loan from Ardo and that Ardo apparently backed 10 other swoop riders, and that Deadman's Gulch is a known 500 km course. All things look like a legitimate challenge.

Deadman's Gulch is normally a "summer" course, and Casseus explains that the Tuskans are nomadic and they are north during the summer, that's why the course is only used in the summer, but few know that. He has planned this challenge for winter out of "mercy for their heat sensitivity", meaning that the Gulch will be full of Sand People. Since they had agreed to dress as sand people, the Tuskans would leave them alone, but the Good Boys were fair game.

Since the race was basically fixed, Cassius told the team they would be racing against him for leadership of the Tuskan Riders, as well as the prize money, less 15000 creds to pay back Ardo the Hutt and 9500 creds which was Jabba's share of the profits.

The Good Boys were given 2 weeks to get used to the course and Casseus had his family remain hidden for that time. The night before the race as Ardo was "walking" Casseus to his room, he casually asked, out side his door, how Casseus' family was?

Casseus smiled and said, "Home for the winter." as he closed the door.

During the race, 10 of 11 Good Boys went down in the Gulch, either to blasters of the Sand People, or collisions with obstacles or other racers.

Klepti was intentionally taken out by a Human GB named Rastus Preen. When their swoops collided, Klepti's smaller frame was torn up but Klepti managed to grab ahold of Preen's swoop.

"Oh pree teecha!" yelled Klepti from behind Rastus (roughly "Hey Asshole" in Jawa) and when Preen turned to look, the Jawa fired his Ion blaster into the swoop and pulled the cord on his parachute; they never did scrape Preen off the wall.

The final leg of the race saw Dax, Casseus and the Zabrak leader of the Good Boys, Koroth Koda, neck in neck for the finish. Casseus heard a bang and his fuel began spewing out from the gunshot from Koda's slugthrower, as the last corner, before the straight into the finish, loomed before them.

Casseus knew that the Air-2 that Koda rode was faster than the Flare-S that he bought Sunrider, so if they hit the straight stretch, Dax wouldn't stand a chance, and his Air-2 was pissing out fuel and might not make it through the race. So as the corner pitched them to the left, Casseus simply let his swoop drift into Koroth's and pulled his parachute. Koda survived the wreck, and swore he would one day kill them all

Dax Sunrider is still the leader of the Tuskan Riders, and they have made a name for themselves.
Casseus rode with the Tuskan Riders for 2 years until he took a spill in a race that has left him shaky and uncertain, so he's been grounded ever since, trying to get his swoop running to par again.
The Tuskan Riders have hired a mechanic and her droid named Xsosa Vida and Ace. Casseus likes her, for what it's worth, and feels more confident and self-assured around her.

Education

Casseus learned most of his skills trough trial and error, he became quite skilled at fixing and flying stuff.

Employment

Until recently, Casseus has been in the employ of Ardo the Hutt.
