Personal History

 
Krux was the son of two adventurers who were members of the Unnamed Adventuring Party that previously owned the Ring and Wren. Raised his entire life among adventurers, he went on to join the party with his parents and their friends when he came of age.
 
When he was 20 years old, Krux went on his first mission--a mission to retrieve a cursed sword. Upon touching the sword, a blast of energy emanated from it that killed most of the party--including his parents. The only survivors were Krux, Festiv, and Kofi. The sword bound Krux to a pact that prevented him from aging for the next seventy years.
 

Joining the Ring & Wren

 
After a time, Krux joined up with the new Ring & Wren, with whom he went on various adventures. When the party faced the vampire lord Baron von Krauss, Krux betrayed them to try and serve him in a bid for power. He attempted to steal Amari's Staff of the Magi, but was held and questioned.
 
The party was forced to fight him and Baron von Krauss in the Pit of Shadows before they could save him.
 
After being defeated and redeemed, Krux continued to live at the Ring and Wren, which had always been his home. He occupied himself with the care and upkeep of the building, as well as acting as a chef for the party.
 
Krux was disintegrated by Alazar Font, who was let in to the party's home base by Kress Nightwort. The Drow assassins who entered the home to murder other members of the group urinated on Krux's ashes when they fled, leaving them in his bedroom as a final insult added to injury.
 
The Ring & Wren encountered Krux's shade when they travelled to Ghislain's realm in the Shadowfell. There, they promised to resurrect him when they returned home.
 

Recent Events

 
The Ring & Wren was finally able to truly resurrect Krux, at great expense, after a couple weeks had passed. He continues to live in the Ring & Wren, knowing how much he is valued by his friends.
