Personal history
Ingwe is the daughter of Davrem Spellwine and his wife, Impela Spellwine. Davrem is the owner of the The Wizard's Wart, Silvarus, a tavern and microbrewery that specializes in magically created ales and beers, many of which taste fruity or sweet instead of the typical bitter taste. Ingwe and her brothers and sisters were trained in wizardry from a young age by both of their parents. Ingwe attended school at the Ard Rhi's University of Ithelia, and graduated Magne Cum Laude from their College of Arcane Sciences.
Soon after moving back home from college in 2054, Ingwe had a terrible falling out with her father over the subject of the research of her senior thesis, adult novelty wondrous items, and her plans to pursue that research further as a career. Davrem yelled and screamed, accusing her of trying to ruin the
Spellwine Family name. When she did not recant he begged her to come to her sences, and take her place in the family business as she had always planned. When she refussed to give up her dream he told her that she could ruin her life on her own, and told her she was cut off from the family fortune, and the family's spellcasting supplies and facilities. Ingwe left the Wizard's Wart in tears that day, but still refused to give up her dream. Her mother followed her out and gave her some gold to get her started and a hug, and told her that she had made her fortune as an adventurer when she was young, and suggested her daughter look into that.
Ingwe went to her friend
Flissa "Fishy" Chandler's place for a few days, while she researched how to become an adventurer, then went to
Adventurer's Guild: Silvarus Chapter House, Free City of Silvarus. The receptionist
Jennifer Coleson processed her application, and using her college transcript and the Adventurer's Guild magical applitude test discovered, to both of their suprise, that Ingwe would qualify to join a Platinum ranked company right out of the gate. The Chapterhouse had received two docusendings that morning regarding adventuring companies seeking mages. One was the
The Driftwood Battalion , a Gold ranked company based in
New Hope, Ithelia. The other was the
Mithril Misfits, based in the
Kingdom of Lilth, on the far off continent of Imorphia. Ingwe went to interview with the Battalion first, but did not take the offered position when they told her she would be an untrained intern until she proved herself, due to her lack of experience.
Ingwe spent that night in
Ithelian City, Ithelia, gathering what information she could about the Misfits, and the next day used the Dweomerian Portal Network, which connects to the Ithelian City Wizard's Cabal to travel to
Marid, Lilth, making it to the local chapterhouse just in time for the interview. Ingwe was offered the spot in the company, beating out three other qualafied candidates, and after confirming she would indeed be paid, agreed to join.
Education
Ingwe holds a formal degree in Applied Arcane Sciences, and is registered with the Wizard's Cabal Association as an independent but fully licensed Artificer. Ingwe was also given a less formal education in wizardry by her parents, grand father and older siblings when she was young.

Her good grades earned her the oppurtunity to do a summer internship with Sandra Diel, the Archmage of Ithelia, herself.
Failures & Embarrassments
Ingwe's greatest embarrassment happened when she was a young teenager. Her boyfriend, Mark Jackson, the son of rich business mogul George Jackson, of Jackson Wholesale Farm Equipment, had told several of his friends that Ingwe was annoying in bed, and that she got his sheets "too dirty." This solicitous gossip went like wild fire through the youth of Silvarus, and made its way to some of the parents of those youth, who told Ingwe's father.
