Benton Part 3

After resting up, we jumped into the portal. I would have rather stayed behind with the boy but this fiend is of darkness and if I don't stand up to it then I will be failing Pelor. We landed on some floating rock in what appears to be some other plane of the world. I need to cleanse this place of darkness. The fiend taunted me with the threat of shadows, but I am a true follower of Pelor and I said a really cool line to him and blasted him with the light of the lord. He'll think twice before he taunts the light again.
 
He changed his face into father's face. I will admit that I was scared but I only slightly peed myself which is better than when my real father tells me he's disappointed in me. After a grueling battle, I smited the fiend with the light of the lord and in his place was a man in his late teens early 20s. I woke him up and he turned out to be the boyfriend of moreen yarbough (the mother of the missing child, benji) that went missing before benji was born. His name is Leydor. I explained what I could to him and convinced him to come to the temple in benton with us. Hopefully sister Reya can help explain everything and figure out what is going on. Also, the large warrior found some sort of magical cloak while we were in that place. I'll have to keep an eye on him if he decides to keep it and attune to it. Anything found in that place is bound to be tainted by evil.
 
We arrived in benton and made sure everyone got home safely. It took some convincing to have sister Reya believe that Leydor is who he is. Hopefully he can get his life situated after being possessed by a fiend. I still can't believe that I was able to bring forth Pelor's Light with such ferocity. The dawnfather must have truly been happy with my actions, I suppose I will continue on this path for as long as Pelor is accepting of it.
