Benton Part 2

by Silas Lightbearer

The wood elf fell to the ground screaming, and he's now unconscious and unwakeable. It looked like he found a box of odd spoons and when he touched them he was affected by some sort of magical effect. I used a cloth to put all the spoons back in the box so that we can take them with us and hopefully find a way to help him. We are taking the girl back to her father and then we need to drop the wood elf somewhere so we can continue our pursuit of the boy.

We dropped off the wood elf with the temple priestess and she told us a story about a mansion that burned down in the woods. That mansion just happens to be the direction the boy was last seen going in. Also, one of the last cursed people in the area was a woman who's boyfriend cursed and raped her and left her pregnant. The boyfriend was never seen again but the woman ended up having a child... a child that just so happens to be the boy we are looking for. I think there is something much bigger going on and im starting to think Im a bit over my head.

We found the mansion and it was in shambles. It looked abandoned from the outside. Inside the front room were some bats and a statue to the progenitor of the Fluffletussle family, a family of well renowned tailors (Basil Bartholomew Archibald Fluffletussle the 4th). It is very odd to find in a mansion in the middle of the woods. There were more of those wretched fiends here. We quickly dispatched them in honor of the Dawnfather , he demands that light be brought to all the darkness of our world... I also found a neat antique catalogue of the fluffletussle's brand. (Fluffletussel's Finest Finds - Spring of '169)

We found a demon in the basement of the mansion. He hurt the sorcerer pretty bad but we managed to find the boy. He's cursed just like the wood elf. We ended up breaking the summoning circle but a strange portal opened in its place. We need to rest and recover and then we can continue on in destroying these vile fiends.
