exploration 190322

We came upon a narrow hallway. A twisting staircase down ends in rubble. There is scribbles in blood on the walls and a sense of evil hangs in the air.
"There is only death here"
"There is rage inside you"
"No one can hear you scream"
This feels like a problem for later... much later.
We stumbled upon a slumbering half-orc, who is awakened after Kat sits on his chest. We welcome a new comrade whos name is Ooore.
Further down the hall we enter a spherical room. There are strange electric type ruins with a number of objects; a ragged book, bottle of wine, twisted wand and the body of a raven-covered in maggots (RIP)
After reaching that dead end we return the way we came back to the torture chamber.
We come upon three doors with 7 pointed stars upon them. One of them is a closet with strange shaped skeletons inside.- giant skull, three arms and an elongated ribcage that goes all the way down to stunted leg bones.
another doorway leads to a room with a statue, which Kat immediately defaces with a mustache.
There is a well
"We are here to fins his sooooooooonnnnnnnn... wrong whale?"
We are set upon by flying heads (ready for kisses) Time for Jelly fishing.
Billy's metal scream distracts 1, Inuyasha smashes two of the heads into a pulp.
Avoid their "Kiss of Death" (if your stunned you can become infected. Your head will pop off and you become on of them)
Lucky for Billy who pulls out earplugs.
My burst fire has two of the heads falling to flame.
Minion obliterates the last one like smashing pumpkins ("I love that band")
The well in the center of the room is full of purified water.
There is another stairwell going up which is also blocked so we contuinue on. The tunnel widens to a small shrine with an ancient altar. The basin is filled with filthy water which for some reason Ooore decides to drink and becomes ill.
Next we enter an immense underground cathedral. A small demon lady appears and screeches in anger "How dare you enter the sacred area!" She flies above the orange pool of freezing liquid and slits her wrist, letting the blood fall in ("It's a cut scene")
She is able to summon skeleton fighters but we defeat all of them in battle.
Kat gets a tiny tiara.
We are able to destroy the rune well and head on to the next part of our journey.
We must find Thistletop the Goblin fort. We track our way to a hidden door near the coast. Behind the door is a hedge maze made of a 4 foot high tunnel.
After several turns that lead to balconies overlooking the beach we come upon some goblins. after defeating them we throw their bodies down a dark hallway where the seems to be a hungry monster. The sound of yapping is heard and the next area is filled with goblin dogs.
After taking care of the dogs we are snuck up on by a druid and a firepelt cougar. (Kat seduces the cougar who is now aggressive in a different way "Are we sure they're fighting?") And now Tangletooth the cougar is Kat's trophy wife.
The druid gives up pretty quick after that. Kat goes on to try and seduce the druid. It makes him so uncomfortable he sobs for mercy and agrees to give us info after trying to justify the failed assault attempt.
He mentions four people tp keep an eye out for
A British bugbear names Bathazerus "Cheerio"
a human
a dark skinned human
and a half elf
after getting what info we could out of him we decide to feed him to the pit monster.
