Fate or a Bugger's Schemes?

It seems that Pharasma turned up for Desna's festival. Err, well people did go the way to the Gray Lady too, but I was thinking about how I haven't been able to decide what I'll do without the Scamps. You survive a goblin invasion and manage to take some of the loony woodsfolk out and suddenly you're an adventurer. I was considering the path, but after what we heard about Sara I was going to mull it over until after I make sure the rest of the family is settled. Mother of Souls knows best, I guess.
 
I haven't been able to stop thinking about what the goblin said about the 'Longshank' that set up the invasion. Someone set up the goblins to cause all that chaos, and if I were to set up something like that, it'd be as a distraction. I figure in the next few days we'll hear about something going missing. Guess someone could've wound up dead, but haven't heard anything like that yet.
 
But of all the surprises on this Swallowtail Festival, I'm still working out the conundrum that is how I ended up getting sacked with Bravos-stinging-Valdemar. Of course I knew he wouldn't miss a chance to prove he's better than everyone, and what better place than a festival where everyone's just having fun? It was hilarious, though, how he completely scuffed up with the hammer-and-bell. I swear Dass was soiling himself over how red in the face that blowhard got. Can't laugh too much though. When the Gobs came out, even I couldn't deny the safest place was behind his blade. (TBC)
