Turning of Faith

by Ague Valdemar

The aasimar girl...Nualia. She...a being with the blood of the gods turned to...evil, to Lamashtu. I spoke with Father Zantus of it and he...still hasn't told the people. Do the gods tell him to hold his tongue?

Abadar (10): Ague has a hard time getting behind the dogma of Abadar. It sounds good to him, but he would say that he has never met a person that he'd trust to fulfill it, nor known a system of law that abides fully by his tenants. So he'd think open followers of the Wealthy Father are not to be trusted.
Desna (22): Many of the Varisians that Ague has come to know think highly of Lady Luck, and Ague is no different. His recent delve into knowing about the gods has revealed to him the animosity between Desna and Lamashtu, which weighs heavily in his mind.
Erastil (18): Ague has picked up some knowledge about Erastil from his own travels out in the wilds around Sandpoint. The farming folk and trappers are more than happy to talk of Old Deadeye and explain to a wayward youth the old ways. Ague feels a bit distant from Erastil, wary of the inner feeling of a calling that would draw him to the woods.
Gozreh (8): Ague is frustrated by how little he knows of Gozreh. The fickle nature of The Wind and the Waves leaves him confused, with conflicting opinions half remembered from the sailors of the port in his youth and wandering priests that would bless the farmlands.
Sarenrae (24): Idealistic and righteous, Ague initially skipped over the stories and doctrines of the Dawnflower. But a fleeting memory of a traveling priest healing his family when an outbreak hit the streets when no one else would reach out to these criminal urchins sits snuggly in his heart and he'd pour over the words once again.
Shelyn (13): Ague is embarrassed to have had a time in his life that he'd prayed to Shelyn to grow into his body and be more attractive. A quick survey of her portfolio disinterests Ague now-a-days.
Pharasma (13): A small altar at the beginning of the graveyard is dedicated to Pharasma. Ague found himself hanging out there, either avoiding the law of Sandpoint or finding alone time. Over time he learned of the altar's significance and would contemplate his fate whilst staring at the somber statue. Many conversations with himself has given him a kind of faith with the Gray Lady.
