Entry Three

Escorting the Goliath to the pit turned out to be more of a hassle than I thought it would be. Whilst it's damn good to get out of town and actually get a better look at this jail I'd prefer I it didn't have to come with the threat of being blown up by the cursed mines. Seriously we apparently need a map to get past the things, doesn't help that the one with the map is an idiot too full of himself and can barely even read it! I had to share the guidance of the stars with him, a waste of breath like him wouldn't normally deserve it, but it's not like he'd give me the map. Fortunately we didn't get blown up and got to camp safely, I even got to nothing off much happened on the second day until we got to the pit.
 
The Goliath that had been silent this entire time decided to finally start speaking and boy did he tear into that idiot, called him out for what he is. Of course that gets the Goliath tossed into the pit with the cart, except it turns out the Goliath is some sort of monster as he crawls back up, throws the Caelan fella off into the pit, then grabs the Idiot and some random other guard before jumping back into the pit. A shame, I brought out the might of the stars and didn't get to spill any blood. Then that Tabaxi, Sunshine, starts heading down the pit for whatever reason. Considering that she's been rather useful, the Idiot still has the map, and the stars tell me the pit is of importance, I decide to follow her down.
