Champions and Blood and...

Seirixori brought up a book Alarys had read about how the gods might use their own blood relatives to have more control over them than normal champions and then she started freaking out about Mielikki maybe wanting her to be her champion, but... now I'm not so certain about everything that's happened. DID Vydea pick someone else? Has she been controlling me? Would I even know? How can I tell?
