My expedition to the mines of proved fruitless. While I was able to take note of a statue of Loki my research was cut off when a group of adventurers stumbled upon my camp.
 

Korth: a purple male lizard-folk. His color is rather unusual for his kind. He is also a skilled archer. In addition he has the ability to make these concoctions from regular rations that have a magical effect on those who consume them. I witnessed one of them eat these snacks and gain the ability to cast magic that was not previously available to them. It would be worth investigating the nature of these concoctions will collect a sample of research and send to you.

Castor: A blueish male tiefling. He is very efficient in combat. He wields a large axe. It’s unclear if it is enchanted. He is a celebrated combatant in the arena of Duafala.

Alanor Orisandoral: a noble elven man. He shows prowess in the arcane. He left for Jemos to attend to other business. Leaving us with a letter of recommendation under his name to enter Jemos(edited)

The Jarl of Duafala, Jarl Jovi is organizing a large raiding party to charge into the wild lands for unknown reasons. Most likely to seize resources or establish his control in that region. But the size of the raiding party is what is concerning almost the size of an army for a war. Please be cautious I worry that something wicked this way comes.

Ogun: a tan elven man. Him and Korth and Castor have a rather close bond. Romantic? Possibly although Ogun did express sexual feelings toward an elven woman he met at a tavern in Duafala. He is also a celebrated fighter in the arena with Castor.

Elven Woman/Polly?: a different elven woman than the one mentioned in Ogun’s section. This woman joined the group after the mine expedition and proved herself useful in regards of support it seems her words inspire others in a way that improves their chances of success. However the elven woman refused to give a name and hid her face under a cowl and bandages. I suspect she may be on the run from an organization perhaps a thieves guild? The team dubbed them as Polly. I do not trust this individual something is wrong.

We defeated several ghosty apparitions and come upon some coin. With my bag of holding we were able to haul all the gold and all of them as well as myself walked away with a hefty sum of gold and because of the ludicrous betting practices of the arena I tripled my gold, I suspect thats why Duafala converted to a barter system instead of coin.

Should look into offering this team coin in exchange for their cooperation. They were present at the assault on Verkaufheim and are concerned about the death of General Aethling
